Mudpony

Confound these wretched equines! For every one I fling away, a dozen more vex me!

The Ponyville Funhouse & Game Emporium holds fond memories for Diamond Tiara. It provided her with comfort and joy when she was a young, very lonely foal. Now it is about to reopen under new ownership, and she and Silver Spoon are determined to get a look inside before anypony else.

A P!nk Pony Tale inspired by P!nk's song "Funhouse", starring everyone's my favorite pink pony.

Strange, the first thing I thought of when I saw the name for this was the Pink song... And now you've based a story around it, involving a pink filly. Uncanny.
A few stray observations:
1. Glasses = smart. Not even I knew what the fear of clowns was called.
2. The ONLY good clowns are evil ones... Haven't you ever seen IT?
3. Yes, Di... Everypony gets frightened sometimes, even you.

Oh, and nice work Rarity.

Calvin and hobbes reference! Chocolate frosted sugar bombs! Or fallout! :pinkiegasp:

Me and Mister Frump, we were like that.

I do have to wonder what gesture a pony makes when saying that. Not like they can cross their fingers.

In any case, brilliant and hilarious bit of Diamond character building, to say nothijg of the ending. I can only imagine how Silver reacted the next day. ("It wasn't me, Sil! You know I'd tell you so you could corroborate my alibi! Just like Mother taught us!")

Thinking it over, I'd say that they use their ears. Being quadrupeds with a lot more ear control than we have, it would make sense that ponies would use them to gesture in conversations in place of arms/hands. Heck, pony sign language probably makes heavy use of ear movements as well.

And thanks :twilightsheepish:
