6357457 She didn't jump, Rainbow surprised her and she folded instinctively her wings. That's when she fell. And she was hovering over the crevasse to get a better view at her sister.
Another smell? What was the first smell? The blood? You never mention it explicitly as a smell, so this part is a bit clunky/awkward.
