Pinkie understands that not everypony can appreciate Hearts and Hooves day as much as she does, yet she is about to discover one stallion dislikes Hearts and Hooves day to the point of shutting himself in whenever the day comes. You need to have faith.

I may not understand what you go through, but that doesn't mean that it's the end of the world. Like in the story says, you never know when you will come across your 'Prince Charm' or 'girl of your dreams', but you just got to enjoy life. Sure there might be bumps in the road, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't give up and think all hope is lost.
