After a small talk about his feelings, Celestia assures him that no matter how uncertain circumstances may seem, there is one fact that remains, she and many others love him. For a brief moment, Spike accepts this to be the truth of the world, until Blueblood came along.

I'm still wondering when Spike is going to get over Rarity though. For some reason his acting like only she matters to him is really annoying to me.

If you take aside the fact of how angry Cadance got for abducting Spike, is it weird that Blueblood actually comes out as one of the smartest/most sensible characters in MLP? At least in this fic?

That is on purpose. I hate how Blueblood is usually pertraid, so, while I try to make him seem like an arragent guy, I try to also make that arragence earned. There's a friends forever comic that illustrates that well it's with him and shining armor. He's an arrogant ass, but Blueblood deserves to be.

Well, nice to see an update again. For some reason I also very nice to see how Celestia reacts to hearing exactly what Spike puts himself through. It might not hurt him, but it's still using a living thing as a pincushion.
Though, wait, how exactly did Spike get all those injuries? The story seemed to imply it was either from animals or that blast from Cadance, but considering how tough he is, neither of those should've injured him at all.
This is going in a different direction than expected. I'm intrigued. I can't remember that last story that was appalled at Spike's living conditions. It's kind of nostalgic. Also: Blueblood was somehow not the bad guy here. Relatively. I'm impressed.

Yeah update. And a look on how spike gets treated. I feel twilight has become very dependent on him but not in an abuse way. More like when a parent has a busy/ stressful job the child become more depend and cook and cleans to help the parent.
