You're off to a really good start. The first half really feels like the beginning of typical Mushishi episode and I can only wonder what will happen when the two sides interact.

I'm interested. I'm an avid fan of Mushishi. Just remember to keep the Japanese spirit that made it good in the first place. It's a clear Eastern show, not Western.

I think you meant to say "say she still was." That was the only glaring mistake I noticed. I enjoyed watching that series, I look forward to what happens next. This is definitely going on my watch list, and I look forward to the character interactions.
