After returning from vacation, Diamond Tiara discovers that Silver Spoon has been missing for a week. Diamond suspects that the Cutie Mark Crusaders had something to do with it, especially when she notices how close Spike has become to the trio of fillies. Diamond Tiara is ignored by the older ponies, but as more evidence surfaces, it becomes clear that Diamond just might be on to something.

Hmm.. There are some typos, but I like everything up to the end. The "Did they do it or were they just telling ghost stories(or whatever)" bit is one of the techniques I absolutely despise in any form of story telling. So I'm waffling on thumbs up or down.

And Spike really should have tried fishing. He could have hung out with Rarity's Dad, maybe got some inside info on how to storm her castle. Wink. Wink. Nudge. Nudge.

...Uh, that was actually pretty dark! I mean, it's nice to see you writing again, but still, I think that this was too dark of a story. That's just my opinion. Besides, I do kinda have some dark ideas myself.

Well if Twilight did kill Spike then her mind is definatly going to be broken, and a very good chance that dagger will find her own throat soon enough. Whats worse is Diamond gets off scot free by being manipulitive. The Crusaders will eventually be found as well, but there barely accomplices at this point and the only ones who heard Spikes confession is a broken Twilight and a vindictive Diamond and unlike Spike there will be a trial. One Diamond Tiara will come looking out of looking like dried feces.
