Off on a Tangent - terrycloth

Twilight Sparkle destroys the universe, leaving Lyra with one endless day to find some way to fix everything, or else to indulge herself in the things she could never do when the future mattered.

Hm. Wouldn't Lyra just have to talk to Minuette? It was kind of a plot point that she escaped from the fragment world, so either there should be two of her running about, or remnants in her compound consciousness or something? Or she's just really bad at magic and only managed to accidentally kill three ponies (faster).

Anyway, I haven't really acknowledged it at all, but I like these. A lot! Lyra is amazingly characterized and her voice is so charming. She's weird and flawed and possibly, inherently wrong, but she's likeable and sweet and feels very much like a person.

Yeah... maybe I'll cover Minuette (in passing) if I do another sequel.

I'm not going to favourite this (or add it to any other bookshelf) because it isn't good enough for that, but I definitely think it is good enough for you to receive my first ever (intentional) thumbs up in this site. It deserves a better ratio than 3:3.

This is really messed up and awesome.

It was twisted in a special kind of way, but that final line is just too 'appreciate the small things' kinda wholesome not to thumb up.
