Much as I applaud the idea of mixing ponies and Ace Attorney, I think you could've done better than ripping right off the first case. :X
I've never played any of the Phoenix Wright games, but now I want to.
I agree with Obselescence, I love the idea, but just ripping off the first case is rather... uninspired.
As everyone else above, the idea is really interesting. And maybe ripping off the first case wouldn't have been a problem...... If the fic didn't go by lightning fast. I remember playing the game a week or so ago, and he had to work even on the first case already. Still, continue on.
... So this is just a pony-fied version of the first game? Sweet. So I can still do my version of the idea.

You're right, however, I do plan on trying to do my own thing. It's just that I felt it would be easier if I started with a pony-fied version of the first case to settle down a little of the base information.
As for why the case went by fast... Well, I have this bad habit of starting my writing late in the day (or early in the day depending on how you look at it) so I was tired by the time I got past Lyra's testimony. The next chapter, which will be more original, will hopefully be less rushed.

So so far Twi, Dash, Pinkie, Cheerilee, Fluttershy, and Big Mac are all attorneys... that leaves Rarity and AJ.

This is really quite promising. Do continue. I'd add some out-of-court stuff though, make the chapters a bit longer. Not just Phoenix Wright, but add a slight dash of Sherlocke holmes detective stuff maybe. A bit more action. You could try that with the courtroom too, but unless you spend a few weeks studying law... I doubt you can put that kind of intensity in a courtroom story. No offense.
Anyway, those are my suggestions. Consider this faved and watched.

Nah, Pinkie's too happy-go-lucky to be Larry. Plus, I think the fandom is completely agreed the Lyra's always unemployed, which fit's the Butz perfectly.

I'm afraid this was just a worse version of the actual first case for several reasons
1. Fluttershy should NOT be the prosecutor, pinkie might of done a better job, or rarity.
2.it goes WAY to fast, you should have taken more time to let sawhit testify a few more times
3. The victim should have been Bon Bon
4. You forgot all about Paris
And 5.you had dash have much less things to discover than know
