Rather nice start. You did however refer to Mr. Rich as a "her" and it's "little did I know" instead of "knew".
Curious to see how this goes, sounds like a fun story so far. Too short to really gauge any solid opinions yet though. But it was certainly a decent intro.

I can't help but compare the butlers attitude to Sebastian's from the anime, Black Butler.
