Need to tell you, the gory descriptions seems to much and overdone. Im not against blood and stuff but it doeent seem to fit in with the rest. Still watching this stoy.
You made a slight grammar mistake. Right before Ace discovers the hiding place under the tree you have this: "... his glasses hanging around his neck by a makeshift rope weaved from a pair of vines." It should be woven, not weaved. Other than that, very nice!
