Princess Luna has returned to Canterlot, Luna Lovegood is back at school, the rift between the universes has been sealed, and everyone lived happily ever after.

Except that they didn't.

Weary of her life back in Equestria, Luna re-opens the portal and plunges directly into the magical world of Hogwarts once again. However, once she gets there, she finds that it isn't all cupcakes and roses; Voldemort is gone, but a new, greater threat looms overhead, ready to destroy not only this world but her own as well.

(This story is the sequel to "A Tale of Two Lunas". You should probably read that first. Rated Teen for occasional naughty language and general tomfoolery).

After a thousand years of peace and harmony, Nightmare Moon returned to change all of that.

She failed, obviously, and now Luna is here with a lot of catching up to do on modern times. Like a lot a lot. Starting with the fact that Equestria doesn't do executions anymore...

But perhaps just this once Celestia will cave and let Luna hack at the poor criminal with an axe because she's equally as done with him as Luna is.

This 'Earth' is so close, and yet so far from anything Twilight described on the other side of that mirror. How is Rarity going to get back to her home when she can't understand anyponybody? And didn't Twilight say she became human, and humans didn't use magic? Yet clearly some did... and that wasn't even counting all the devices that might as well have been magical, as far as Rarity was concerned.

Who knew one strange little gem could cause so many problems? They'd taken it from her after it'd brought her straight into a lab for study, but... If she ever found it again, she was definitely going to let Spike eat it. As soon as she got home. And by Celestia, she was going to get home!

...Will Rarity ever find her way home? Is the gem that brought her to Earth the key, and is there more to the factions maneuvering around her appearance?

To complicate matters, this is an Earth recovering from its first alien invasion (Rarity being technically the second, then). ...Or does that actually explain things? No, no it doesn't. But it will.

To go with the Teen rating (or rather to explain it) there is light profanity and violence. I don't believe either are at a level where the warning tags are needed, but I'll mention it at least.
There may be some darker, more explicit moments in flashbacks, but I'll save those for Interludes.

One night, Princess Celestia had a very surprising vision concerning the Mane 5. When she, Princess Luna, and Princess Twilight realize the meaning of it, the Mane 5 will have their world changed forever. They learn that their biggest and toughest choices they will soon make will require immense sacrifice of what they knew, dreamed, and worked for. Ultimately, what they choose will not only affect them, but the ponies they care most about and all of Equestria.

Luckily, they have each other to learn how to be strong and willing to choose whatever choice they make in the future. Will they stay the same, or will they have to eventually rise to the occasion, embrace their true destinies, and join together to form the Princesses of Harmony?

This is a prologue to the series "The Alicorn Trials".

Discord retells the story of his life, beginning from when he was just a young colt. How he used to be a friend to Celestia and Luna, and how he came to become the chaotic being he is now. What could have happened to change him so from the normal pony he once was?

What if Specialist Traynor didn't pick up Kai Leng's signal as he left Thessia? Commander Shepard and the Normandy are scouring the Horsehead Nebulae for any trace of Cerberus. In an off limits system there is a strange planet that doesn't exist on Council records, but it appears to be emitting an unusual signal. Shepard brings the Normandy in to investigate.

Meanwhile, Celestia is trying to adapt to Luna's return. The younger sibling always had some radical ideas about how to manage the kingdom, and Celestia is finding it hard to hold her ground against Luna.
