The Wagon-Wheel Rally, one of the largest events of its kind in Equestria, has decided after two decades to move to Trottingham due to construction in Ponyville. Supporters are furious and decide to take it out on a hungover Mayor Meyer Mare, who treats them with her usual brand of (dis)respect.

Taking on the mantle of leadership has never been a smooth ride for any of the Princesses. Cadance, especially, is having trouble with her new role. It's not all it's cracked up to be. Dreams of freedom and decadence are buried under responsibilities and paperwork.

Thankfully, she has somepony around to talk to about it.

The Wanderer, a pony who has been said to have wandered Equestria for the past 300 years. Princess Celestia is curious and maybe hopeful, immortality is hard to come by.

Only a couple of weeks have passed since Mayor Mare and her closest friends -- Spike, Apple Bloom, and her secretary Raven -- fled Equestria to escape the dual insanities of a drunken angry Celestia and a sober but livid Chancellor Orangeglow. Whilst relaxing under the midnight sun, the mayor discovers a new concoction that could lead to the end of the Crystal Empire as we know it.

Celestia has noticed that Luna has an abundance of time dedicated to well-meaning revenge pranks and decides to track down her sister and help her be seen as a regular part of society.

A recurring letter has arrived at Canterlot Castle. Its appearance is one that Princess Celestia always dreads. To help her princess, Raven suggests a little spring cleaning. If only it weren't in the castle room that the princess has kept locked away for years.

Anon awakes in a blizzard in Ponyville, vaguely remembering a past life. Anon tries to reconcile his understandings with an enigmatic new world, and Twilight tries to understand her. During this, Anon is given the opportunity to venture to Canterlot under Celestia's offer, and prepares.

Princess Celestia is having an amazing morning! The sun is up, the birds are singing, and she's going to meet new students later! Just one cup of tea before then, to help her start her day. What could possibly go wrong?
