At Mudbriar's funeral, Starlight Glimmer struggles to be a friend; she and Maud reflect on roads not taken. (Igneous and Pinkie provide flavour, rock and candy-based respectively). Also, there is the mirror lake....

(Takes place prior to the events of "The Best Gift Ever" since Mud Briar was seen with the Pies.)

Maud Pie couldn't be happier now that she has an amazing boyfriend like Mud Briar, and Mud Briar is happy to have a pony like Maud who not only understands him but technically shares in his passions.

However, Maud's parents have learned that their second oldest daughter has taken a boyfriend and are quite curious to meet the potential son-in-law. But Maud hasn't told them what Mud Briar is like.

Mud Briar accompanies Maud, both out of a desire to see the rock farm she grew up on and to be a supportive boyfriend for his special somepony. He doesn't seem nervous, but he hasn't been told what Igneous Rock and Cloudy Quartz are like.

Will this trip back to the rock farm go smoothly for Maud, and can she get her parents to approve of Mud Briar? Or will Mud Briar drive them all crazy with his technically correct way of speaking?

It's Maud's Birthday again, and Pinkie is setting up the best party possible for her beloved sister! Only problem is, Maud has other plans, and Pinkie might just find herself caught in the middle of them...

Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich are finally going to get married, and their marriage is the talk of the town for Ponyville. Pinkie Pie is all too excited to plan her own wedding, especially when she's marrying the pony of her dreams.

But it turns out that Maud has already decided to get married to Mudbriar, and her marriage ceremony is going to fall on the same day as Pinkie's wedding. So what's a party pony to do when she's got two big celebrations to oversee on the same day?

Why, combine the both of them into one super double wedding spectacular of course! Pinkie and Maud will get married on the same day at the same time, and both Cheese and Mud are onboard with the idea. But is Pinkie up to the task of juggling her own desires with Maud's subdued ones? Well, maybe she'll have to rely on some extra hooves for this occasion.

Maud's best friend is dead.

Adagio was blissfully watching TV until an 'Iron Will Housing Service Agent' called to conduct a mandatory survey.

Discord makes a bet with Pinkie Pie that she can make Mud Briar crack some sort of emotion. Pinkie absolutely does not believe him in the slightest and ya know, he may have a point. So she gives into it and shakes his hand, now all Discord needs is a laugh.
