But not far from the town of Ponyville was a mountain that once held a dragon. It's current resident had a plan to stop this holiday from coming into fruition.

The "Great and Powerful" Trixie is a down-on-her luck magician that is broke and struggling to find a gig. One day, she purchases a ventriloquist dummy in an attempt to reinvent her act. The dummy, dubbed "The Amazing Presto," turns out to be not your average dummy and Trixie soon finds herself in a battle against her pint-sized partner. Can Trixie triumph against Presto or is it curtains for her?

Troubleshoes complicates them.

Essentially, Coloratura/Applejack romance as Rara navigates fame after she breaks away from Svengallop. Not exactly a mirror of what we saw in The Mane Attraction, but kind of similar.
