This story is a sequel to The Start of a Royal Addiction

Luna has heard hushed whispers of the newest addition to Ponyville visiting her sister quite often.

Ponies talk about something called "scritches and pats." Luna isn't exactly sure what it is. But her sister and her dear friend Twilight have started acting weird. She intends to get to the bottom of this, and one way or another put an end to this apparent speading "addiction."

(I would credit the artist of the cover image but I couldn't find it anywhere. If anyone knows who drew that image please inform me and I'll happily credit them.)

Pinkie Pie has seen Twilight frown and wander the edges of town, looking into the horizon. She knows what troubles her immortal friend. Her life is short after all, at least compared to that of an alicorn. It stings her heart to see a friend so sad.

So, she prepares a gift for Twilight. It might not be much, but a single memory might weather the road ahead.

This is that memory.

Rainbow Dash knows how to be loyal, to pull some sick tricks, and to go fast. She, however, is completely clueless in the matter of chair building. Luckily, with a little help from her friend Applejack, perhaps the two mares will get it assembled in time for the big event.

This is the tale of the two wayward 'long way around' time travelers that meet right on the precipice of the final beginning to share some final words before they go.

Seriously, who in their right mind would capture a Princess ~ moreover, how could somepony capture a Princess?! With her day thoroughly ruined, she begrudgingly embarks on a small adventure...
