Hey guys! I'm signal boosting David Silver's latest Kickstarter project to bring ponies to Dungeons and Dragons Fifth Edition!
I will be doing seminars on Writing and Game Design for an entire afternoon (probably Saturday) at Lone Star Games Expo, which is a smaller Tabletop RPG Convention in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. I will not be talking about ponies that much, but if anypony here will be at the con, feel free to come by and listen in!
One of the best and well-known songs out of all the Final Fantasy installments, Eyes On Me brings a lot of nostalgia to those who played or watched someone play the critically acclaimed RPG, Final Fantasy VIII.
It makes me tear up every time I listen to this heartfelt and tender song.
So, a friend of mine recently had a bad day and asked people to post good things about him or good memories with him. I contributed a pretty long post, since I had plenty of stories, and most of them were from games of various stripes, since we became friends in the first place mostly during a Shadowrun campaign. I thought I'd share what I posted here, if only as an amusing series of snapshots into the kind of things that happen over the course of a few years of gaming together. Plus, adding a
To any and all D&D and Pathfinder players and other fans of tabletop RPGs: Ponyfinder is currently up on Bundle of Holding!
It’s USD 12.95 for the corebook, bestiary and three adventures. And if you offer more than the level-up threshold (USD 20.55 at the time I posted this), you also get three supplements and another adventure.
In the beginning there was a Game Master, and over the course of seven days he created a perfect world full of intrigue, villains, heroes, and magic. Then on the seventh day he invited Players to come and create Player Characters to act as their avatars in the Game Master's perfect world. Within three hours the once perfect world was destroyed by these supposed heroes going on a murder hobo rampage. To the NPC's of this world, this was the first sign that the end was to come. To the Game
Foreword:
Apologies for this sudden switch in schedule. Some complications came up while making the Pokemon VS Digimon blog and I had to set to to next week. On the upside, you get this list now rather than next week. Again, apologies for the inconvenience. Also sorry for this being late! There were some complications, but it’s here now and we’ll be back on track next week. Thank you for your patience!
So, for those who haven't caught on, I've been branching out from the Pony fanfiction lately to start working on some Dark Fantasy Novellas under the series title of Tales from a World Corrupted. It's set on a planet that's been ruined by magic and the ways people abuse it, and it's got some wacky races too, including talking horses. I'm also working on a tabletop game set in that setting, which will hopefully have some starter material as well as a video series starting in June. As
I've been working, very slowly, on a my little pony roleplaying game for years now. I finally put seven hours or so of straight work into it last night, getting little sleep in the process, to finish it off. So here's a little comedy based RPG about Trixie and Maud on the rock farm.

Hello everyone and welcome back to the question of the week.
A while back I had talked about the idea of making an rpg with punk like elements and last week (at least I think it was last week), I had ask a question talking about alighnments and using vices for them instead.
Yesterday, my best friend came over and hung out with me and my brother! We did a lot of fun things, and he even brought up the topic of Tabletop RPGs, so I had an idea for a one-shot story, inspired by “Mushrooms & Morons” from SMG4…
Oh hey, I still have a blog thing here.
In any case, my tabletop gaming crew ran a one-shot of the Tales of Equestria RPG over the weekend. Was fun! The intro kit adventure was ... kind of oddly designed, almost like a Choose Your Own Adventure thing instead of a 'traditional' RPG supplement. Though at the same time, the adventure is also basically a dungeon crawl, just without the typical murderhobo violence. Just goofy good times all around.
Hello everyone and welcome back to the question of the week.
Well, the weathers starting to get nice, which is nice. I'm also getting a new computer, which is also nice.
Currently I'm putting some more work into my ttrpg project and so that will probably be what this week's blog is all about.
Admittedly, I'm a big fan of spellcasters, however when creating a new system, I have a hard time thinking of good spells for the spellcasters to have access to.
We bought the Pathfinder Ultimate Intrigue book on Sunday. Just leafed through it. I desperately wish to play a Cipher or Forensic Physician (Investigator archetypes), or a Snoop (Rogue archetype). Hmmm... Could I make that work in Ponyfinder?
So basically I want to do some variant of Sherlock Holmes and James Bond?
Hello everyone and welcome back to the question of the week.
Well, I had a really goofy idea. Not sure if it will actually happen or not, but I had this goofy idea, that might go into another blog type.
This was done in 2019, but I just found it. So, thought I would share it with those here, in case others haven't seen it before.
A Critical Role one-shot with Tails of Equestria. At the request of Princess Twilight Sparkle, Countess Pi, Tomeytine, Trixie Gadgets, Peaches Silversong, and Whirlypoo, escort a unicorn stallion noble back to his homeland. Although, things may not be as simple as intended, as there is a bit of tribalism, and some very angry rock dogs about.
Just for those of you interested in games, I thought I'd point out a new one I found. (It's on both GoG and Steam.) Here's the trailer.

This game is called "Ghost of a Tale", and it's a rpg you play as a adorable little mousy! It's kinda really really Redwall-ish.
