1. I have my own life besides this. BTLG is huge (literally) and I rarely find the time to do it between my own stories and my life.

School is starting tomorrow for me and I will not be able to finish chapter 2 of Our Red String, that's why it is 'On Hiatus.' After a few months of writer's block, I'm finally able to write again! For how long, I don't know, and what stories I'll continue are a mystery even to me. However, I thought it would be nice to try a new story just to flex my fingers a bit. I think you'll find this new story to be a rather familiar experience to any RPG fans out there.

After a long hiatus, far too long, I'm back.

The last week or two had been a flurry of activity, as I try to finish This Platinum Crown and prepare for the upcoming Bronycon (where I will again be a panelist). I've attended the previous two years, and each time had the joy of meeting readers who remembered me and who came up to meet me - a true pleasure to meet them in the flesh, always - and I even got to meet some people I'd only known on forums. I've finally officially marked it as "Cancelled".

I haven't exactly given up on it quite yet, but here's the thing: if I ever do continue it, I'm not going to continue this incarnation of the story. Rather, I'd be completely reworking and rewriting it from the ground up. It would still have the same basic concept, but many significant changes would be made (including being more up-to-date with canon, and just re-imagining the story in general).
