Next time you are hired to write a story, please do so, rather than taking the opening credits of My Little Pony: The Movie and making them last three quarters of an hour, and then bolting the Power Ponies onto the end. Additionally, it is worth noting that 'a young lady turns into a demon' is no longer an effective plot twist for an Equestria Girls film.

So I haven’t been around much, and been writing even less. There was this little thing called extended unemployment (“funemployment,” but with all the fun bleached out of it.). Which is now, thankfully, behind me.
Hi Everyone, Xepher here. As most of you know, Everfree Northwest took place almost two weeks ago, and we had a fantastic convention. Part of that was the Iron Author contest, where victims contestants were challenged to plan, write, and (if possessing superhuman skill) edit a story in exactly two hours. Entries had to include all three of this year's prompt items: Food, Future, and Facsimile.
It's okay, I guess. It's no Rainbow Rocks, either in story or music, but like I say -- it's okay. 
Though could people please learn about fitting words to music properly? 
So, the move to Arizona has happened, but we are still in the unpacking stage, and while i am still working on both Derpy Love and Tales of the Everfree Cruse, I have gone back and rewritten some of the next chapter for Derpy Love. I wasn't happy with it and i'm glade i didn't post what i had just to get something out there. Terms of story line wise Derpy love is almost done. Just a few more chapters and this tale will be over. I have been throwing around the idea of expanding off of it with

hello again, so I watched LofE this week, I'm sot sure how to feel about it, on one hand, it gives me more story ideas, particularly with RD, and twi's arc was decent, but on the other hand Gloriosa. Just Gloriosa. how does causing chaos in your camp make your situation with your debt and all BETTER ya prick, also pinkie's powers did' make more sense unless the geode allows her to toon bend or whatever she wants to call it. and why i the 3rd act of every EG movie involve someone being OP.

So, I was planning on going to Everfree this year for my "last hurrah" after finishing DiH, but it's looking like either Bronycon or Fillycon now. That doesn't means the ending is getting pushed back, just my little pony party.

It is with great pride that I announce that the prequel story to my MLP comic, Everfree: The Journey of a Pink Pony, previously known as Ask-Pink-Pony, will be releasing in the not too distant future. I have been working on the comic since February 2014, and this novella since October 2017, so I am quite eager to finally release such a significant chunk of lore with this completed work of nearly 18k words, split into seven chapters.
I typed this Saturday night, before the flurry of Sunday morning to pack, do a final few activities, and get to the airport in time for my plane, which sadly means I'll miss the closing ceremonies and the Iron Author awards, which'll be really awkward if I win the latter. But I want to take the time now to get down my thoughts, because they need getting down.
Ho boy! Everfree Northwest was this weekend, and it was one of the best, most emotionally exhausting things that I've done in about a year. The last time being last year when I ran the writing track in 2017. I volunteered as the writing track lead again, and then got to have the fun time of spending most of the weekend moderately stressed out while making sure that nothing in Twilight's Writing Room set on fire. Or stayed on fire too long.
Realized I haven't made a declaration of intent for this one yet. Consider this that: Plague permitting, I'll be attending Everfree Northwest this year. Definitely looking forward to seeing familiar names and the faces attached to them.
