Going to Everfree Northwest this year!

Exactly what it says on the tin! If anyone else is going (and if there's any kind of Fimfiction discord meetup group on it~), please let me know. With travel and etc. I likely won't be going to many of these, so I'd love to RL meet as many Fimfic peeps as I can.

I have an... ambition to do a presentation there. Maybe it won't work out - I've never done anything like that before and there of course would be a lot of writing and practice first. But perhaps I'll have something for you all there, in an official part-of-the-convention capacity. We shall see.

Won't be sticking around too long on Sunday, as this will kick off a vacation to Olympic National Park for me.

What is the writing track?

(Never been to an EFNW so literally no frame of reference.)

OH we have a room(I believe its called the Twilight Sparkle room), where we have writer panels (mini classes on various subjects kind of like ted talks), and of course the famous and perhaps infamous Iron Author competition.

Iron Author: Writers are given 2 hours, to write a story from scratch, at the start they are given 3 subject words/ideas they must include into the story as part of it. Last year we had 41 writers compete and a mind blowing fact that 2 of the 3 top spots were brand new and had never competed before.
