So, I decided to enter something for the writeoff this time. Let me tell you, it is the worst thing I've ever written. But, I have a reason. I was writing a review and reading Pegasus Device at the exact same time, which means I was constantly losing my train of thought while writing said write-off entry.
Hey, one last reminder: if you're writing a horror story for the Nightmare Night in April Writeoff, you need to get that story up and added to the folder in the next couple days!
IN WHICH I WATCHED SOME ANIME
I put cream in my coffee this morning. I rarely do that, but the cream needed to be used. Watch this. It's brilliant.
So, I have a few bits and bobs to say today, if you'll please follow me past the jump…
For those of you who have seen this classic movie Ferris Bueller’s Day Off I was thinking that maybe later on I could make a crossover with Rainbow Dash who hangs with him and his friends to get out of a boring test while looking out for Principal Rooney. Comment below if you think you wanna see that story.
Hey everyone, just thought I'd let you all know what's been up with me lately.
So, the company I worked for decided to make some downsizing efforts, which affected an entire branch in my area. This did include me, and I received an email... which made it even worse that I read it on my phone while I was into a video game on my day off. Termination was effective today for all staff. I was emotional, yeah.
But it just so happened to be some lucky timing for me.
ya'll ever just have ideas churning in your head but you just cant use them because its just not time yet? god its so annoying. ive got ideas for my story "1000 Years", but i can't do anything with them. its just not time. how would you deal with these troubles?
Okay, so I decided to bite the bullet and take my Transformers crossover off it's hiatus. The reason for this is because the scene which was responsible for getting it there in the first place as it turns out I can write on a tablet without too much trouble. Either way though, I decided to save said scene (A Wheeljack centered flashback with him and Jetfire hunting down Protoform X) for a later chapter where it would work better anyways. So, you should expect a new chapter soon, sometime next
Because yesterday I saw the MLP Movie with my girlfriend, her sister, her sister's fiancee, and their friend. And I must say, personally, that the movie lived up to the hype (YAY)
I will definitely do my best to avoid any spoilers, but I just need to write something.
Blame Avengers coming out the week I release part 2 of the chapter- due to that, I have very few days off to muck about writing a story right now. Soonest day is Saturday. And that's being hopeful since I feel super sore- but who isn't used to walking 3 plus miles a day? This guy.
See you guys soon. Finally I'll be able to wrap up the chapter in a while.
Here's another log for the sometimes monthly diary so I don't ever forget who I used to be once the years pass by. I don't particularly celebrate christmas all that much, but merry christmas all the same. This year's holidays was both disappointing and wasn't at the same time, and for a reason that makes me feel like a hypocrite upon trying to type it out, since I generally disliked whatever presents were thrown at me. My favorite among them was a book, or more specifically a graphic
Gonna try something new with blogs or something while I'm in between stories or in between completing one story and finishing the next. Off the cuff blogs, where I just write what comes to mind when it comes to mind and throw it at y'all.
Today's topic that brought up an off-the-cuff idea was writing about what, and reviving a dead or dormant story.
What, or more specifically, what question should be asked to revive a story?
Perhaps the most unique sign-off in TV history was aired by WLWI, when it was an ABC affiliate. It featured the zooming out of a model of their TV studio - which is suddenly blown up right in the middle of it. VO is by David Letterman, who got his start at this station.
The station was renamed WTHR in 1976. It switched network affiliation to Letterman's first network home, NBC, in 1979.
