Proof reading versus Editing. Do I know the difference?
Not right now. Sure I could look it up, but I'm not going to.

Hey everyone.
I know I usually publish a new chapter of Bluebird on Wednesdays every one or two weeks, but unfortunately, the next chapter is going to be delayed for another week.
The good news is that it's mostly finished, but it has yet to be proofread, and I want to avoid the usual mistakes that happen when I publish a story/chapter the evening I finish typing it up.
So thank you for your patience, and I hope you'll look forward to some more Gallus adventures!
Hello! I was wondering if any of my Loyal Viewers out there would like to give this a read before it comes out. It's called Shameless, based off of the Shameless Self-Production Bureau and its avatar or as I like to call her, Allegra. It's the story of a singer named Allegra who works at a lonely bar. She gets an unexpected visit from her childhood friend Octavia, who invites her to make music with her and Vinyl Scratch.
Against better judgment I have stayed up editing on a new tool I downloaded and I'm sooooooooo tired. saved the edits. I haven't heard from my other proofreader, so I'm still waiting on a long que to see what i missed. I am worried i will screw up the story. so feedback is very important, goodnight. Any help is apricated.
It's almost midnight, so soon that won't be the case, but whatever. Anyway, as the title inconspicuously states, I need a proofreader for my contest fic. I need someone who has a good eye and can spot errors. Please, seriously, I need this. I will ask multiple people if I have to, I really want this fic to be good.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go cry over my ships.
Uhhh...argh...I think I'm alive. Got clobbered two Fridays ago with a nasty throat-to-sinus-to-lungs, butt-kicking plague that forced me to take two days off work and still has me coughing my lungs out. Now my poor hubby Tale Weaver got hit with it last Thursday, so for days we were both barely functioning enough to make a whole pony between us
Most people that say they are proofreaders have been off for weeks I hope I can find one... If you are a proofreader/editor and would like to edit my "work" please show yourselves.
in case you have not yet seen the comment i posted on the story, people seem to like it, so i'm now working on it more, currently brainstorming like crazy, trying to make it all work together with most of the ideas i have about the story.
so you people who wanted me to write more on it, your wishes shall be fulfilled :)
With the hurricane madness over, it's time to get back onto Displaced into Nothing. To get myself back into the story and remember what's been said already, I've decided to do that revision I was talking about in one quick binge. To prepare for that, I've written another blog post of advice to gather my thoughts on what I'm doing...
Hey guys,
God, these revisions are fun. Make sure to check out the revised versions of Chapters 8-11, as well as the next three in Chapters 12-14 in the coming week. I plan on having these done within 10 days, so we can get back to the current adventure.
On the real, these revisions are tanking my sleep. Jeez, it's like over a thousand, two thousand words added on, more context being put in because it makes sense! And with rereading the early comments of this book, dang...yeah it was bad.
Currently reading through my own stories to remind me where I take off last time.
Next update will be my Cynder story and than I will be going for my Necromancer story.
My potencial new boss will see me for a job interview tomorrow, if I get accepted or not? Who knows...
Anyway have a great Sunday and stay snuggly.
It's just like the blog entitles. The 14th chapter of this book went from 4,019 words the first go-over...to nearly 10k in this newly revised version. It will, by far, be the biggest chapter I have so far written, and...it will be my one of my top 3 favorite chapters I have written for this book.
Heya, folks! I recently helped out user Robipony with proofreading and editing for his story Hidden World of Pinkie Pie Episodes. If you're into CreepyPasta/MLP crossovers, you'll be glad to hear that this is actually a sequel to another story he's done that is also a crossover of this variety. Check it out!
Yes I'm about to begin proofreading and editing all five chapters of the Sean's Equestrian Adventres story.
Now in require help, so if you can please comment and I'll invite you all to google docs so you can help. Everyone who assists will be given a thank you in the Epilogue as well as have their names put into the story description. I'll be doing this till around 4:30am Eastern Standard Time so I encourage you all to join.
Hey guys,
Dear Bronies and Pegasisters, as well as anyone who is thinking of volunteering to edit/proofread any of my stories or thinking of doing a cover art for me:
Due to all the people that have volunteered to help me ever since I joined this site that said they'll be dedicated to help me but most of them ended up leaving for a various number of reasons, I'm going to give all of you this warning:
Hey guys and gals, this is the order of week to week updating for my stories.
Monday -- Prophecies of a dragon
Tuesday -- Royal Pains
Wednesday -- Darkness Rising
Thursday -- A Crown of Ravens (Not Published on fim fiction)
Friday -- New Book Possibly
Sunday -- Proofreading (If you guys need a proofreader)
So I made some minor edits to A Very Cranky Hearth's Warming and re-did its cover art. Gotta love Inkscape and DeviantArt for enabling non-artistic types like myself to have decent looking covers on the cheap!
