Nightmare Nights Panels - Watch Them Here! · 3:49am Nov 11th, 2015
Evening!
Evening!
Hi, all!
I had a pretty great day today, and I hope you did, too!
Speaking of great days, I'm going to be at Nightmare Nights this October 22-25th, and YOU should do a panel with me!
And here is a little list of keywords I used when I created my third writing panel. I thought it might be interesting to read for other people who want to make a panel themselves, so they know how to get started. It's actually really simple. I collected subjects to talk about, summarized them into keywords, and then explained the keywords to the audience using pictures and examples.

Ayyyyy lmao what's happnin
So, good-ish news! While my application for my long-running pony fanfic panel was waitlisted, I was accepted to run my newer panel: The Medicine of My Little Pony, coming up at Whinny City outside of Chicago! It'll be on Day 1, March 27th from 2-3pm. Pull thru, I'm working on expanding it and making it better than ever!
I hope to see some of you guys around the Con!
I have arrived at Trotcon for day 0, my dudes. I'll be lounging around the hotel a little later this evening, after Pre-reg opens at 9.
I hope to see you guys around this weekend (and hopefully at my panel on Sunday)- if you see me, feel free to say hello! If you see the guy holding the four-foot long Luna plushie, it's probably me.
See ya around!
Yes, it’s official! I can do a panel at Galacon 2019! I’m so thrilled that I can finally share this news with my readers. This panel will be all about building a world for your story, and the title will be: ‘Wonders of World Building.’ I will show you the essential tips you need to create a solid, believable, and memorable world with which you can do as you please. Colonize it? Destroy it? Sure, it’s your story (although I would personally prefer option two). And of course,
Hello my dudes,
Whinny City may be online (and free!) this year, but it's still a party! I'll be presenting "The Medicine of My Little Pony" tomorrow (Sat July 4) at 10am CDT on their server in the Hoof Work "Room".
I hope to see some of you there :3
And happy 'murca day.
So this is what I went to college for, huh
SO! This weekend is BronyCon! I'll be there, and I hope you will be too!
I'm going to be on two panels.
I've kind've been dead for a bit, haven't I? I usually find something to blog about at least once a month, but I didn't say peep basically all of July. Well, at least that means you guys get a bunch of news and stuff in this blog!
So Bronycon is over and it's back to the usual work days... but there are some words to be said.
Remember how I said at the top of the last EFNW blog that I was gonna be on top of things?
Well, I lied.
It's just under a week away and I cannot wait, so I figured a reminder post about Everfree Northwest would be a good idea.
So, if any of you are going to Everfree North West this year I have a few announcements.
Just letting you all know that with Discord's Therapy Visit up on YouTube, the last Unconventional Paneling short is up as well.
Also, apropos of nothing, would anyone be interested in helping me judge a contest?
Just wanted to say I'll be attending Everfree Northwest! I've always wanted to go to EFNW because they seem to really respect and care about the fanfic side of the community, and it's looking like this year's the year. Plane and hotel booked, badge acquired. Hoping I get to meet some new faces and see some old friends again.
Baby Wubs has proven not to be the greatest little passenger on car trips, so while we did what we could to keep him calm during the drive out to Whinny City last night, we accepted that a certain amount of crying would be unavoidable.
Wonders of World Building
Panel for Galacon 2019
July 27th 2019
Note for my making-of blog post readers:
If you’re reading this, then you have probably attended my panel. Thank you very much for putting your trust in me and deciding to join in on the world building adventure. It really means a lot to me to see that you and so many more Galacon visitors were interested in what I had to say. You have made my day! :)
Ponyfest 2.0 has ended, but the magic of the Internet means that all of the panels have been preserved for posterity!
This was the Powerpoint Presentation that I did, about the Universal Engagement Curve.
It was a discussion on pacing in works, and that contains all of my slides.
