Just wanted to say I'll be attending Everfree Northwest! I've always wanted to go to EFNW because they seem to really respect and care about the fanfic side of the community, and it's looking like this year's the year. Plane and hotel booked, badge acquired. Hoping I get to meet some new faces and see some old friends again.
I honestly have no idea where I rate in the community -- my bio is only half in jest, and I tend to picture myself as sort of lurking in the shadows at the edges of ponyfic, occasionally popping up to throw books at people before retreating -- but I figured I'd follow Flutterpriest's lead and say that I would take it as a pretty big compliment if folks put my name forward as a potential EFNW community guest. Their Discord server has a #guest-suggestions channel, and you can also email gr@everfreenw.com. Even if you don't care about suggesting me -- and that's genuinely fine, I'm just happy to be there either way -- make sure you suggest other ponyfic people! Help make sure our slice of the fandom is represented.
I also submitted a panel last night on How To Do Self-Publishing Good, based on what I've learned through Ponyfeather Publishing, so if that's something you'd be interested in seeing (whether you're going or not -- if the panel happens, I'll post all the materials I put together for it online), maybe the community guest support thing would help get the panel approved, even if I don't get picked as a CG? Maybe? I don't know if those teams even talk to each other, but I figure it couldn't hurt.
Work continues on PFP's ongoing print projects. More concrete news on those soon, hopefully.
