Yes, I'm still alive... · 11:12pm Mar 12th, 2019
... I'm just very very tired.
This isn't a sappy blog reminiscing on me, way back when, no. This is just a blog to serve as a reminder that, at one point, I cared.
I cared about upvotes, downvotes, comments, and favourites. I cared about how my works came across to others. And it was that caring that made me realize I shouldn't.
If someone was to tell you that the following five creatures evolved from a common ancestor, and that each new trait evolved only once:
If you guys remember, awhile ago I made a five page comic called "I Am Octavia" with artist AniRichie-Art. Well, she created a video dub of that comic and it's out. Check it out and give it some love guys.
I blogged a little while ago about moving along on the final chapters of Alicorn Switcheroo.
As of five minutes ago, I reached the epilogue.
I just want to state for the record that I am working super hard on my fics, I just haven't had the time with 4 tests trying to drown me and Xcom2 being the addicting prick it is.
Big Badass Battle Chapter.
You think you've seen a fight scene? Oh no. Those were little tussling matches. Now I get to play with armies. I've been waiting over a year for this.
And I have a surprise for yooooou.....
Ok, so this kind of occured to me while I am fixing up the fourth chapter of evolution...
Howdy!
I hope this tuesday is finding you well! I'm doing okay, all things considered. Plus, I get cake today.
WHELP.
This is my 2018 "yeah I failed at NaNoWriMo again" post. Made it about ... 16k words in, and decided to scrap it. Mostly because I was having trouble reconciling setting exposition and compelling characters and so on.
Don't think CoH2 needs much introduction for RTS fans. Never played #2 myself, but the first game made a real splash back when it was new for its real-life,historical setting, and being a real looker for its time.
Free until monday to celebrate it's fifth birthday, so nab a key quick if you're into WW2 stuff and/or RTSs.
IN WHICH ERRYDAY
Good evening/morning. I return from the nearly dead with pain and questions, but also this:
Thank you for 420 followers! Anyway…
The more I look into the man, the more I realize he's my goddamn spirit animal for a lot of reasons.
Mostly I just wanted to settle in on one quote right here;
In politics, as in religion, it is equally absurd to aim at making proselytes by fire and sword. Heresies in either can rarely be cured by persecution.
My computer is dying. I bought it about 4 months ago, because the price was dirt cheap, and because I needed a replacement after my previous computer had a cascade failure in its motherboard, and components. The iMac was 9 years old when I bought it, but a lot of Macs have a reputation for being long distance runners, so I hoped that it would last me a year or two while I saved up for another PC.
I know its been a year since the last update but last year and most of this one was rather not good on my end. Moved out and getting settled and into the groove and finally able to focus and not feel like garbage about writing or getting talked down to about my life. So that's why I've written about half of those words in the last week. Besides a bit of editing the rest of it is from last year. Literally. I wrote the first thousand words a week or two after the last update and then my life kind
”I am very smart.”
“Thorax I watch you walk into a street sign.”
“That has nothing to do with being smart.”
“Yeah, but then you apologized to it.”
“...Pharynx, promise me that you will never bring that up again.”
You ever have that moment where you're writing something, and you're so into it, and you're so looking forwards to what's about to happen, that you're just sitting there shaking in your seat like an idiot, struggling to type the words out?
Normally in these blogs I'd include a couple other things about what I'm up to. Y'know, video games, movies, whatever. Frankly, I've got none of that for this blog, because I've been so focused on getting through these next few chapters.
Sure I haven't seen any of the last 13 episodes of MLP but that doesn't mean that everybody's freak out reaction to the finale even 0on just this site alone hasn't spoiled most of the stuff in there.
So I liked the Wasteland idea of the finale.
