Complete is only 4 years! · 9:00pm Aug 12th, 2016
I blogged a little while ago about moving along on the final chapters of Alicorn Switcheroo.
As of five minutes ago, I reached the epilogue.
As I mentioned in a previous blog, I originally started working on Alicorn Switcheroo back in November of 2012 as part of my very first writing contest here on FimFiction. We are nearly to the four year anniversary of that start. In that time, I got fired from the highest paid job I've ever had in my 19 years of work history, and started the best job I've ever had. I moved in with Bubble Boom. I sold my home. I've bought two cars, three poodles, and six AC units. I've built two computers. I've learned to do voice acting, video editing, marketing for print and web, programing, live action filming, and animation. I came down with a terrible disease.
I have met a lot of new friends and learned so much about writing. I've written...well, look at my stories tab, and see all dem words. I've gained 99% of my followers since publishing Alicorn Switcheroo. To say it was instrumental in forging the first steps in making a name for myself in the fanfic community, and the Twilestia sub-community would be understating things.
Now, I am closing in on the last couple of thousand words in this silly little what-if scenario. It kinda blows me away. I just really hope you all like it.
Thanks for sticking around until I finished it.

You have leveled up into a super-author who can ship ALL the ponies! May there be many more years of Fuzzy pony shippery!

You better believe it!
Congrats!
Have I gone crazy? Didn't I read this journal post like a month ago? just got a Deja Vu.
In any case, wow! way to go! congratulations! Yeah, a lot can happen in 4 years, ups and downs. But I'm so glad you're doing good and even got back some inspiration!
Many congratulations!
… though, six AC units in four years? Is your cat setting them on fire when your back is turned?

The answer is closer to "yes" than I like to imagine. The central AC has not worked in this house in well on a decade. So, window AC units are a must, and So far, they have lasted all of a single summer each. The newest one is a portable unit that I had to install around one of the failed units because no one in the house has the physical strength to move everything to get to the window and uninstall it.
Here's hoping that the house loan comes through soon.
