Okay, guys. I'm probably going to disappoint a lot of people when I say this, but I'm not going to continue "Mind Games" as a multi-shot.
I just don't have the heart. The first chapter was something spurred on by a spark in my head. I don't really like writing dark stories if I can help it, and the recent ideas in my head have been more than a little nasty. I'll mark it as complete and keep it as a one-shot, but that's all I'll do. Once again, apologies to everyone who was expecting more.
Now that I’ve had a night’s sleep to *ahem* compose myself, it’s time I shared my thoughts on the series finale. Because it was nothing less than beautiful. We’ve shared in their joy, watched them push past their sorrows, and now these little ponies we’ve known and loved have come full circle, passing the torch of friendship to the next generation. But, like Twilight’s memory book, we’ll always be able to look back on the show with great fondness, and relive it all again.

Now I know fighting and action/adventure games aren't usually the deepest of stories out there. Devil May Cry is no exception, but people still miss out the core ideas at the heart of the title. So I’ve pulled like four all-nighters in a row, and I’ve been really tired and stressed lately. But last night was strangely... awesome, despite it sucking at times. I wrote the first chapter of Act 2 of Letting Go Of The Reins, I finished one of my assignments that are due today, and I even ate a lot of food!
I'm back and I'm alive, everyone! Mostly at least. I've been gone for far too long as it is, and after observing the drivel that's highlighted the feature box for the past few months, I think it's time I updated and reminded everyone what real quality story telling is.
I just finished binge watching She-Ra and the Princesses of Power on Netflix. It made me cry. Frequently.
I ignored it when it was new because I was like, "There's no way they rebooted a corny 80s show into anything good." But I'm happy to be super-wrong.

And the story already continues! This happened faster than I thought. There was a short thunderstorm on Monday and this means I could sit down and write the first update after the start and initial announcement.
I want to try out another writing experiment. A couple weeks ago, I was sitting here at my computer during a thunderstorm at night, when I suddenly heard the crying of a little girl coming in through my open window. Followed by a flash of lightning. It was an eerie cry and it got me to think about what things might lurk outside during such a thunderstorm in the middle of the night. And then there was this sentence in my head, this question..... "Maybe the little girl needed help?". Of course it

Okay, I have been waiting for a while now to make sure, but now it's the end of October, and it looks like there won't be any more thunderstorms coming this year. This means, Thunderstorm Story will have an intermission until late Spring, when the next thunderstorms are to expect.
