Okay and i might actually write one this time (unlike when I said I'd write about dragon con) 
I was thinking about writing a Rarity fic 
(she and sunset are really the only two characters I can write) about halloween preparations. I think it would be similar to "Suited for Success," where Rarity is under pressure to create clothing for her friends, this time for Halloween.

I couldn't sleep tonight, and I was bored, so I thought I'd come on here and write a long blog post. Fair warning, I'll be using a fuck load of equipment jargon in this post. If you don't know what I'm talking about, click here for an Imgur album I made explaining what everything is.

So, I went off and did this thing (of course I did).
Aside from being lonely, life is pretty good. Last night, I went to a dance class for the first time in forever. It went much better than I thought it would and I had a lot of fun. I'm happy but am still in that off mood. I won't drink anymore to make it go away, so I'm forced to deal with my emotions. I wish that I could see my friends more often. I thought I'd be a hell of a lot more social now that I have my license, but I was wrong. My mind keeps telling me that I'm not

Been gone for a while. I'd rather not cover the why issue since I already told one of ya but instead focus on how I kept distracted these last five days....
GENCON!
Yeah, yeah, it's a four day con but we left the day before so we could be there at the crack of dawn. We even exhausted our entire alcohol supply on that first night, trying to make a drinking game out of cards against humanity.
So I had this whole big spiel planned out, but on second thought, I think I can condense this all to a much shorter list of bullet points.
-MLP, I have recently realized, is not the show I keep wanting it to be. To be brutally honest, it's pretty shallow.
-The characters do have some depth to them, but it's not as much as people claim, and they don't develop so much as their personality shifts depending on the writer and the season.
I was going to make this last night, but I got trashed at an Xmas party and kind of passed out as soon as I got home. Apparently I didn’t do anything too stupid, though. I called my mom to check and she said I was mostly fine. Just a lot of talking in my sleep on the ride home.
But anyway, back to celebrating my fourth year on the site. And boy howdy was this an eventful year for me.

new chapters of Family Tree and Once Upon a Harvest Moon are in the works, so hang in there
and maybe a new Dreamweaver story, but that's still in the early stages. i like the idea of that one being a mini-series, or w/e
and i've got a few unpublished ideas that need finishing/polishing, might publish those to put some new stuff out.
... though not for lack of trying. In between a layoff and a vacation at my new job, I've been working the work of three people. (At least I've been earning double paychecks due to all the OT.) The death march hopefully should ease up this week.
As a reminder that I'm still around, new story in the morning! A minific that started life in one of the Quills & Sofas speedwriting competitions back in like ... mid-August.
