Been a bit distracted by a warhammer event. I haven't done much if any writing the last few days between work and the "skulls for the skull throne" event. Wanted to get in on the killing. Vermintide is my game of choice at the moment, and the dev's set up a ridiculous goal- kill 100 million skaven(the rat monsters) in 4days. At 8:30 CST, we'll be doing Screaming Closet on twitch. But not just any screaming closet. I'm going to be the one playing this time, and we'll be doing ALL of Doki Doki Literature Club. You asked for it, and you've got it. I have a soft spot for dating sims, and I've heard exactly enough to know that we need to do this on Screaming Closet, but nothing more. So, come watch me make distressed noises and high pitched squeals of delight/upset. And bring drinks. Drink everytime I'm upset.
While it hasn't really come up in the previous blogs, I do love when a band decides to combine instruments or genres that you wouldn't think would work together but in fact they do. For example, there's Eluvite, a metal band that has a hurdy-gurdy and sings in Gaulish sometimes. Or Nanowar of Steel's Valhalleluja, which is a mix of gospel and metal [let's be honest, Nanowar of Steel is the metal Weird Al].
Well, I’ll start with the bad news first: I had to go to the ER yesterday. For the past two weeks, I have been dealing with what I now know for sure is tonsillitis. I don’t know when (or if) I’ll be able to get them removed, but hopefully it is soon. Even though I was pumped full of five days worth of steroids and painkillers (no seriously, they told me it was that much) I still cannot talk and have a hard time breathing right, especially when I need to wear my mask. At least I’m going to get
I was so busy this last weekend editing things for myself and others, that I forgot to do a blog post. Wouldn't be the first time I've posted on a Monday. I'm just glad to be keeping busy. I'll have to keep this short, mostly because I don't really have much to say, but I don't plan to specifically miss a week of blog posting. I've successfully posted once a week, every week, since January. I don't plan to stop now.
