I intended on uploading a story for Halloween, but because it didn't pass moderation (my own fault, cause I wanted to be a fancy dumbass) I had to fix the discrepancy and re-submit it. It just recently uploaded, and no one will ever see it... whatever, though. I just wanted it done. It's been in my "unsubmitted" section for such a long time, and I've always wanted to get it done, but never had the right motivation or drive.
As I approach the weekend, it's time to give a quick update on things. By this time next week, I'll be on the road headed back to Texas. I'm moving for the fourth time in four years (a fact that aggravates me more than almost anything else), which of course means I will not be available until I find a place to stay. To that end, I'm saving most of my current projects - FMP, Switcharootaloo, and Locals - to my Drive folders so I can at least study them while in the passenger seat.

I've never really looked at my own body of work and tried to suss out a general theme. As far as I know, I don't really have an identity as far as what I write, at best having one for how I write. I don't know that you could sum my work on Fimfiction up in one sentence, the way you could say that Majin Syeekoh writes irreverent comedy with intermittent navel-gazing, or that Carapace and friends write fluffy romances about the contrast between sour and sweet. A significant amount of you has taken the time to point out that Scootaloo's plan to murder Celestia is extremely flimsy. To the criticism I would like to give the following response on how this plan would actually succeed:

Whatever is causing it, stress is no fun
I've found some websites that can be helpful for relaxation, taking a break, or even letting out frustrations

Well, this was an interesting one. I'm glad the writers remembered Starlight is supposed to be one of the focal girls, now, at least. I feel like the episode was a bit late for the kind of conflict it had, but I feel there are some stuff worth noting. With that, unto my thoughts~
I finally got around to watching Wreck-It Ralph, and let me just say, I am so glad I chose to see it after IYGALL finished, 'cause boy, does "IYGALL video game AU" sound weird as heck. As much as I enjoyed the movie...after that twist, I can't stop thinking about how similar the two are. (If anyone else has noticed the similarity, rest assured, it surprised me as much as it did you.)
In any case, what this means is I know the first thing I'm gonna draw 2018~

Today, my first major original fiction finished updating. Fortune's Fate, all 13 "episodes", have been posted to my site and all other relevant publish locations. Surgery happened. I lived, bitch. Woo. I slept most of the those 48 hours afterward because holy fuck there was pretty much nothing else I could do. Also, The Shining is an absolute mess of a book. Don't touch it; it's not good, I promise. (I could spend like six hours saying why, but I won't; that's not the painkillers talking either.)
