I'd like to make a compilation of some of the authors that made me want to be the author I have not yet become.
While I was putting up a new story for publication, I got distracted (as is wont, oh hey, my drinks empty brb) by the series tag. As most of you probably already know, when you post a story, you have to choose a series tag of which series that piece is fanfiction. Conveniently, when typing in the proper tags, it also shows the number of times that tag has been used.
Rating Scale:
12/10—a complete masterpiece; flawless and outstanding
11/10—Excellent, near-perfect film
10/10—the standard rating; awesome film with a couple of flaws
9/10—a wonderful film with several flaws
8/10–a great film with numerous flaws but not enough to ruin it

It's been an idea that's been lurking around in my head since forever. The problem was finding which Trixies to add to the story. I think I've made a pretty nice balance. Hey again. Chapter 16 of Lunaverse: Galaxy Rangers - The White Raven is finished. Okay, I admit I play the level of technology in this universe pretty fast and loose like the show does. Despite everything, this fic is still basically a cartoon. That is why Trixie was able to survive being exploded back in the first story or gets her head banged into a desk for little effect. Whatever works for a gag. Anway, I hope you enjoy the chapter.
Hello again. The sixth chapter of Lunaverse: Galaxy Rangers - The White Raven is done. I wasn't actually planning on making this chapter like this at first. Hey again. Chapter 23 of Lunaverse: Galaxy Rangers - The White Raven is finished. The story is slowly starting to wrap up. I think it should be done at chapter 30 or so. With an epilogue of course. As I said before, I will write a side story or two before moving on to part 3 that will wrap up the Corona saga. Raindrops will play a big part in it. I think I finally found a good place for her in the series. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the chapter.
It has been a while since I did a set of Read It Now reviews. I actually started this one all the way back in March, and then forgot about finishing it out until this weekend, when I decided to get another review set done and actually read some recent stuff.
Today’s set contains a pair of episode reaction stories, a story with an interesting premise about Celestia and her ability to see the future, a story about Chrysalis sending Cadance a letter, and a story about… well, wingboners.
Chapter 3 of Secret Agent Dinky is finished. This one is mostly set up for the next chapter which I am sure you will find most interesting. I have some great news. While I was writing this chapter I also wrote a colab with several other Lunaverse writers. It about the Luna 6 giving Secret Santa gifts to each other. Each author took one of the members of the Luna 6 and wrote about how they found/bought their gift. I did Raindrops. Each chapter will be released daily until Christmas Eve. Check it
A few days ago, I was rewatching "School Daze" to give the episode some more thoughts, because there is quite a lot to see in it and a lot that invites you to deeply think about it. One sentence in particular stuck out to me:
"Everypony should be prepared to defend our way of life."

It has been a long time since my last recommended stories post, but I figured that before a nice long three day weekend (at least, here in the states, where Memorial Day is on Monday), some folks might want some good stuff to read.

Today's stories were really interesting to me, for a wide variety of reasons, and most of them scored well. It was a good week for reading on the whole and I hope I get more like them.
Hello again. These chapters present a huge shift in the story that allows Dinky really bring the end to Chrysalis's plan without having to throw a single punch. I thought it would be interesting that, though she's been interested in becoming stronger and being a secret agent, it's her kindness and friendship that gives her the real key to victory. She's growing up and learning what's she's good at. I didn't want to just have a story about Dinky but have her grow a little as a person too. I hope
Hello again. Another chapter of Secret Agent is done. This chapter reveals a little on Bon's past and her secret troubles and angst. Her past was going to be crazier and more elaborate. It involved secret cults, time travel, and Trixie, but I couldn't bring myself to put it to paper. No, instead I came up with a more realistic tale that I personally think works so much better. I am glad I listened to my instincts on this one.
Chapter 19 of Lunaverse: Galaxy Rangers - The White Raven is finished. I have been thinking that I might write one or two one-shots after I finish this story. I have some big ideas for the third part and there are some things I want to explore before doing it. One idea I want to do is a story where Lyra and Bon-Bon have their tenth anniversary of the day they met and hijinks ensue. I like writing their relationship and want to expand on it more. Hello again. I have a new story. It's called Magic School Zord. It stars Cheerilee. As the name implies, it's about Cheerilee using her Zord for a fantastical school trip. Where? The moon of course! This is a silly idea that floated in my head that I wanted to make reality and I thought Cheerilee deserves more love. I think she is the most underappreciated of the Luna 6.
