I must confess I am quite intrigued by the upcoming Bra Quest. My mind is forming all sorts of barmy possibilities like an epic Ogres and Oubliettes style epic quest retelling of Husband Shining Armour's
arduous, eternal campaign3 hour shopping trip with Cadance totry on every buing garment on the the rackspurchase some clothes...Of course Cadance, being the Changeling Goddess of Food, pulls out her trump card:
Cadance: How does this fit me?
Shining Armour: *bored sigh*
Cadance: Do these colours look good? How about these? Or these?
Shining Armour: *grumble grumble*
Cadance: Which pattern looks better?

Shining Armour: The 3rd and 4th patterns better compliment your body figure. With fall coming, you will want those colours, but these colours here are also quite good. The fit looks a bit too loose and long. This one here would be a better tailored for your size. It also goes better with the colours from before and the pattern also compliments your figure...

Having seen some concept art... I think it’s more like “Raiders of the lost Panties”. By which I mean that Sunset Shimmer is going to open a footlocker and a bunch of nazis are going to be impaled through the chest by underwire bras and through the eyes by string bikinis.

SIG, I could see something extra silly coming out of your idea. Like maybe while Shining and Vice-Principal Cadance are at the mall, Flash Sentry is following them around and observing from a distance, because senpai-Shining has offered to teach kohai-Flash some of the deep mysteries about relationships. And maybe Chrysalis is following them around as well, and watching Cadance to try to learn how she inspires such love from Shining. Cue a meet-cute with Flash and a merry mix-up as the two of them bumble awkwardly through their halves of the exchange.

I have indeed! I’ve put a ton of new stuff into my shorts anthology just this week. ALL of my backlogged Writeoff fics have come out of cold storage. Three pre-readers have made it all the way through To Serve In Hell, and I’ve made contact with an artist about doing something a lil’ bit special to let everyone know what’s coming down the pipe with it.
Now I just need to get a Sunset Shimmer story finished by the end of the weekend for the contest Oroboro is running.
