It's almost time to wrap up W/Aoi's story. Much like with Indomitable; I'm saddened to see it end but also really happy to see a shot in the dark story be praised so much, especially since Arknights isn't a super famous game. Since I'm drawing "The Philosophical Substitute: Discord" to a close, I figured that the best way to end this story is to do a trial. However, I am writing this to let you know that since I've started to work on this since Monday, I'm almost 3,000 words, I can see right away that this is going to be big enough that I have to split it in two.
Sorry for the long wait but the final chapter of The Northern Winds, which I have been putting aside for all these years is finally complete. I told you I kept my promises. All that's left is an epilogue, which I'm not planning to draw out much longer, and then I will have to build up some mental motivation to finish the entire series. Hopefully the next book turns out just as good if not better. Thanks for all the support!

Yes, Nocturne's origin story, "The Phantom Pony of Everfree", has finally come to a close. And to all of my readers, who have pitched in to help make this one of my longest and most popular stories, I can't give enough thanks. It's been a great road, but Nocturne's beginning has finally concluded.
Or such is the plan. After struggling with it for several weeks around other writing projects, it now stands at just short of 6000 words after I finally got some momentum on it and figured out what I'm going to do with it.

I don't plan on posting another story for a while and I'm not sure if I will post another. I have other stories but they aren't mlpfim themed. I might consider creating more pony stories or perhaps ponyfying the other stories I am gonna write soon as they should be pretty easy to do that with. So, in order to combat the writers block that has developed and has prevented me from working more on the second book, I have finished the epilogue. I wanted to experiment a little with Celestia here, and as such her speech is inter-spaced with other events, like how a commander gives a speech, but what is shown on screen is the actual battle he's prepping his troops for. I really hope I did it justice, but it's something I was experimenting with, so I'd understand if you felt I didn't do it

All prereads are in, and four different Gentlemanverse authors contributed multiple sections. It's coming in at over 13k words, which seems appropriately large for the story's grand finale.
