Why I Don't Write Here Anymore

I suppose it's been on my mind for a long time, but it never really occurred to me until recently. And because a few of you have been waiting for some projects I promised I'd finished, you deserve to know, as well.

    This exists . . .

This is a thing that exists. This was made with effort, and money.

And Hasbro actually put their name on this.

    . . .

    . . .

    . . .

I'm gonna step away from this one.

My good friend needs some support

You all probably know HudsonHawk, especially if you know me. Even though I've never met the man in person, he's my best friend on this site, on the internet, and probably ever.

    Embarking on a new venture

Recently I discovered a site for content creators called Daisie. It allows people to post their work and ask for collaborators, and it was created by actress Maisie Williams, whom many of you might know as Arya Stark from Game of Thrones.

The FINAL TWO CHAPTERS of "The Phantom Pony of Everfree"! · 6:38pm Sep 17th, 2016

Fast as lightning, sharp as a sword

Yes, Nocturne's origin story, "The Phantom Pony of Everfree", has finally come to a close. And to all of my readers, who have pitched in to help make this one of my longest and most popular stories, I can't give enough thanks. It's been a great road, but Nocturne's beginning has finally concluded.

But that's not going to be his only story. Check out "Fluttershy's Bad Patient" and "It's Cold Outside" for more Nocturne stories, and as the Marvel Cinematic Universe puts it:

"Nocturne will return."

Also, I've decided what I'm going to do with "Equestria: Civil War". Celestia remains in the story, but her part in the earlier chapters will be given to an OC. I figure that's the best way to split the difference.

Thanks again to all of my readers and followers. You've been nothing but good to me, and I've done all I can to be worthy of your praise. I hope you thoroughly enjoy the last two chapters.

Stay quick, stay sharp, and thank you sooooooo much for reading! :yay:

Celestia remains in the story, but her part in the earlier chapters will be given to an OC. I figure that's the best way to split the difference.

I'm not sure that that's the best idea. It would be infinitely better to do Celestia well.

4214373 I need this part to be the way it is, and Celestia is obviously not the one to do it. I need a hard-ass to give these girls a wake-up call.

Then be sure to make this OC an actual character, and not just a plot point.

If you'd be willing, I'd actually really like to lend my modest skills as an editor!

4214384 Who has the personality needed to be the story's equivalent to "Thunderbolt" Ross, though? It would have to be a higher-up, someone who works for the Princess or has some diplomatic role of some kind. Only one I can think of is Shining Armor, and he's not even that much of a hard case. Plus he's in the Crystal Empire.

I think you misunderstood my meaning, by

make this OC an actual character, and not just a plot point.

I meant that you should give this OC a personality, and give him at least a bit of characterization.

4214398 Well, that was the plan. After all, Ross has character, too, for the limited screen time he had.

Congrats on completing the story :pinkiehappy:
