My muse has been extremely stingy lately and as a result it has taken far longer than I feel it should to squeeze out something comparatively simple. I am still committed to remaining narratively and militarily sound in my writing. Trying to do that alongside keeping everyone in character -- development and all -- is difficult, especially for such a long-running story.

I've only written two thousand words into the next chapter of The Roses of Success. I used to be able to pull off writing a full chpater from scratch in less than a day, but now I have school, and homework, and I just don't have another thousand words in me.

I know what's stopping me from writing, and I have an idea of how to fix it. I'll explain in more depth soon, but I have to finish math class and watch the debate for homework, so I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.

I think I posted the last blog to late in the day so like no one saw. I hurt my left thumb about a week ago picking up a heavy bag. It got swollen but calmed quickly so I didn't bother going to see a doctor. Yesterday I finally went to Urgency Care because it kept hurting more and more and was going into my wrist. Doctor says I have something called Game keeper's thumb. A torn tendon. So I'm supposed to call the local orthopedic tomorrow and I have to wear this...

I'm pleased to announce that the writing of "Chapter 12: Love Sick" is completed and it is undergoing the final editing pass where I clean up punctuation/word usage. Expect to see it this weekend, and expect something as long or longer than Chapter 11 depending on which version you choose to read (sorry I know I said it'd be shorter. Oops!).

I may have to slow down the publication of the chapters of UME for the following months. The reason is that I want to wait for the arrival of the Pokémon Diamond & Pearl Remake and maybe Pokémon Legends to see what they will do with Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, and Arceus. In OR and AS, after all, Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza got new transformations, without forgetting the new designs of some of the characters like Maxie and all the other stuff they added like the battle in space against Deoxys,

It's been a LONG time. I'm still very much in the fandom, but writing... Well as my last thousand blog posts have profusely apologized about, I'm not huge on writing MLP stories anymore. Listen, I know you’re all waiting for me to post new chapters, some more than others, but with the holidays this close, I’m not entirely sure if I’m gonna post another chapter before the end of this year, which sucks because I have a lot planned, but as they say, “Them’s the breaks” and all that.

You know when you read posts about people having problems with writing their stories, some taking even years to update? I am definitely one of those people. Based on your experience, is there any hope for me to ever get them done? And more importantly, should I just push them through nad get done with them, or procrastinate forever, trying to satisfy myself with the quality of the stories first, possibly never releasing anything? Even if they might be decent?

Sweetie alone will be getting a new chapter soon but I am just really focused on It’s not easy and my creativity is consumed by that story.

I haven’t given up on the story I’m just being slow & my writers block is at maximum with the story.
