Normally, this wouldn't be a major problem, except I need the headphone jack to work to jack the speaker I use for hosting trivia nights into my computer. I've tried all the possible software reasons and now have to conclude that something is physically wrong with the jack itself.

I told myself that I wouldn't drop 12k word monster chapters anymore. They're difficult to write, stupidly hard to edit, and no one reading them has the attention span to really read them. But here I am, doing it again. I'll do what I can to pare it down once I finish writing it, but I've got 8.3k already and there are still substantial portions of the chapter that are only skeleton outlines.

So, apparently the part needed to repair my computer is on back order. Fortunately, it's a non-essential part and I can get my computer back until they get the part in to effect the repair. Sorry guys, yesterday was a particularly hellish day at work and I am exhausted.

So I've known for a while that my bosses are two giant, two-faced manbabies, but now they dun' goofed!

We are, in fact, closing in on the end of Act 2 and moving into Act 3. As I've mentioned elsewhere, my life of late has been a series of stressful events which killed my productivity. As a result of the circumstances surrounding some of those events, I've found it really hard to work on Consequences. I'll be getting back to it soon, but I'm gonna take some time to reset by working on lighter fare for the immediate future. I realized I hadn't really posted a blog in a while and figured it was time for an update.

So, I've been working on another BCU fic which I'm trying to get done because it may kick off Phase 3 (Maybe. It depends on which one of us authors gets our story done first). Alright so this week was waaayyyyy busier than I initially anticipated, and next week is even more so. So bad news first: Departures Chapter 14 is being delayed back at least a week. That said, Chapter 13 is slated to drop on it's usual 8AM PST Friday slot this week. As for content after?
