Coming in with some bad news regarding Gingerbread House of Cards. I'm going to be blunt and honest with everyone, I'm not happy with it so far and I actively dislike writing it at this point. The story isn't coming together how I'd envisioned it would. Everything I write feels like it's damage control and trying to fix the plot and theme that aren't meshing as intended.

Had a lighting strike of an idea hit my noggin, and so I have started writing for Changeling Mine again, so expect the next chapter some time soon.

Normally, I don't criticize the work of other authors here on Fimfiction because I know how utterly horrible I was in the beginning and how much more I have to learn. Sometimes though, I have to vent or my head will pop off my shoulders. This was directed to a story, now deleted, by an author, who is now banned. At least temporarily. The author had eaten a 24hr ban before this apparently for the same story, which they supposedly re-submitted with no edits. Big surprise it got punted again.

So I'm putting Chasing the Briny Neighsayer on hiatus to focus on my new FlutterDash fic. I realize I've already been doing that, but I'm going to shoot for a release of the first chapter and the prologue early next week. (I want February 1st, but we'll see how long it takes the mods to approve it.) During that time, I was job-hopping and found it difficult to stick.
Also, family drama and financial problems occurred as well.
Although my life has become more stable, my motivation to finish the story has sort of died.

Yeah, things are decent here. I mean, I'm feeling just...lukewarm if you get my drift, and I have little feeling to dedicate to writing here on FIMFiction. I mean, being autistic has its advantages, but often they can turn to disadvantages if I'm unlucky.
