College is a fun place full of friendship, magic, and exams. Hard times, for sure; but writing has greatly improved my mood this week. Be prepared for more chapters next week for the following stories:

Yeah, so I fell down the stone stairs near my house while I was out with my dogs.
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuutch it hurt! 
Anyway, I think I am going to lick my wound for a bit, so I am not going to write so much today. So the next chapter will be delayed a little. Which I think is okay, I mean, I've delivered 19.000 words so far, so I think you can forgive me, hehe. 
Pony terminology is confusing. What's the alternative for "handiwork" or "craftsmanship?" Is there one? And if there is, are there more like this? Do we switch "hand" for "hoof" and "man" for "stallion" or "pony?" They seem like a pretty gender ambiguous culture--but still use "guys" as a way to call a general group, typically between friends. On the other hand--or hoof--they also have pretty serious gender roles. Hell, ninety percent of the male population is in the guard. Ever wonder why
Week after a post, feels pretty nice. There is another project coming up in a little while, but it might be a week or so off from now.

I've been writing quite a bit the last few days. Churned out the third chapter of Carnivore, started on the fourth, and also began writing a fic inspired by Admiral Biscuit, alwaysdressesinstyle and countless others who have written about working class ponies
Okay, I tried to sit down and get started on the finish for Princess ♥ Princess - before I realize I had completely forgotten what direction I was going back in May. My notes were only marginally helpful (since I hadn't thought about this one at all since then, unlike the fics I'll get started on once it's done or whatever).
I think I'll take this weekend to try and get it done - but if I can't, I'll just put it on hiatus so I can focus on what I truly want to write.

Wow, I know how to bite off too much. Especially these days.
The story is still seeing progress (it's my only project until it's finished), but it's getting more complicated because of where it's headed and the nuance involved. It's difficult to drop foreshadowing when the POV is so unusual. I've written a lot with unreliable narrators, but this takes it to a new level. Hopefully it'll be worth the wait, though.
No promises, but I'll probably be able to drop the next chapter tomorrow.

2018 was... pretty stressful for me. More college, more work, my sister now has a dog. So I'm hoping 2019 will be a better year for me and that I'll manage to do a bit more on this site again. Though at least I'm making somewhat regular posts now, so there's that.

Currently, I have updated TWO of my chapters to Equestria Girls: Lucky Chances within 24 hours once again and would like to ask for people who would be willing to try and review my work before it finishes within the next four chapters. Within the comments or by DM arte two of the options you can do to review my work. Making a blog about it also works, but it will need to be sent to me directly to knowe who it was written by. 
When I first started writing back in December I never imagined that I'd be penning anything more than a simple one shot or two here and there, and yet I'm here with 3 published stories, weekly updates for one of them, and two other projects in active development. Each of my stories has served as an important learning experience to me and in the case of Departures it really shows a lot when you compare the early chapters to some of the latter ones (Chapter 3 is especially hard to re read for me
