A couple of weeks ago, one of my sister's friends recommended that I try watching a new anime, Akiba Maid War; I was bitching about what I didn't like in another anime, and he suggested that Akiba was well-animated, had a nice balance of violence and humor, and wasn't full of uncomfortably oversexualized underage girls.

...I think I've fallen back into SombraPie shipping hell. Again. Like, it's been kinda lowkey for the past while, but damn, I got hella inspired after that review for the finale and now I got a whole AU situation going on up in here. I get that the whole "Evil ruler and soldier from the opposing side" thing isn't the healthiest dynamic, but it has got me interested... Also, I've been listening to Halsey and Maroon 5 for this AU, and it oddly fits...
My final for my online psychology class is (due) tomorrow, and my other online classes have their finals due next week, too, so after that, NO MORE COLLEGE WORK... For the rest of the year.

If you all will remember, some time ago I swore I'd attend the last Bronycon, but for a while things were looking rather rocky. Finances have not been great in Nyronus land, even by my usual abysmal standards, and my plan to save money in handfuls at a time was blown apart by spending more months than not barely in the black. Plus, shenanigans have diminished my tax returns greatly, which was my usual foundation for saving for Bronycon.

Sorta, I guess? Like, it's still plausible that The Bubble could exist in the MLP universe considering that G5 takes place far into the future, but it still ruins the possibility of writing a sequel using G5 characters. Perhaps I could rework it a bit to make an advanced version of the Bubble, but the problem is...

So I haven't written any stories for some time now due to fading interest in writing, and because of those damn dirty clopfics getting more attention than other stories, but I've been thinking of maybe having another go at writing again, maybe this time doing some stories for Unique since it had been something I really wanted to do for a long time before. I wanted to write a decent story for my character but despite having ideas I was never able to figure out how to write them out.
Oh, and Rainbow Dash too, she also get's to see the cute, Derpy madness!
