Two chapter update for FA! · 5:02pm Dec 23rd, 2016
Also it's over 100k now...

So, obviously, Equestria Girls is meant for a family audience. But if there's one thing those of us on this site enjoy, it's makin' them ponies and people swear like sailors on shore leave in our fics.
I swear I'm unable to write consistently, I used to write maybe twelve different stories at one time and never finished one, I only added more to the list. Thank god my tablet broke and I lost my data, it would have otherwise driven me further insane. I was however, disappointed in losing the beginning chapter to a Tolkien and George R. R. Martin inspired story, but it was the price I had to pay. Anyway, the reason I am writing this is to alert you to my inefficientcy at deadlines, I had
Hey, I actually put out a new story. Some art tempted me to write a bit and I ended up with a fluffy little one shot. I've tagged So Maybe because the two stories are related. Anyway, the story is embedded below so go check it out while you're not-so-regularly scheduled Enemy of Mine update remains in progress.
So, apparently we got a spot during Saturday's HaHcon (Horses at Home). This is an all-day streaming event made for those who couldn't make it to Bronycon. We've got the 5:00-6:00PM PST slot (8-9 EST), in which we'll be answering questions, getting drunk, and generally being terrible human beings.
Hello, folks!
First, let me apologize for my radio silence lately. I've missed two T3 posts in a row now for sure, and just been silent on other media as well. Between work, car maintenance, some needed repairs around the house, other real life stuff, and a level OMGWTF sinus infection, October can be summed up for me thusly:
Wrap yourself in today's story for an unusual take on a princess' tale.
In Amber Clad
[Drama] [Slice of Life] • 1,484 words
The next chapter of Misfits, currently named Never give Myst a Soapbox, is currently chugging along at a little over a thousand words.
Great, he's not shutting up.
I recently won a competition against authors much better than I am. I'm still not sure how. (First place out of 57 short stories in last month's The Writeoff Association contest, specifically.)
I am continuing to modify the story for publication which I am fairly certain will make it much better for everypony except Titanium Dragon.
I think I'm going to start doing these monthly. Keep myself accountable, and all that. I'm currently averaging about a chapter a week:
As I feared frankly expected, the chapters are still being split for length, so it's getting kind of hefty and we're looking to shoot for the 200k mark. I'm sure they'll get edited down a bit in rewrites, but probably not to the point where I can condense them back into singular chapters.
A quick tip for writers out there, who use Microsoft Words:
Change the background colour of the pages to a mint green shade.
1. Before I get into talking about the Wayfarers, I just want to give a big thank you to my constant readers. I know there’s a handful of you, I love you all. The Wayfarers is a longcon to say the least, but one I think will pay out big.
Today, Obabscribbler, who needs no introduction, wrote this comment on my story I Cast a Deadly Shadow:
Congrats! This is the (very belated) winner of the Bronycon Them's Writin' Words 2018 Contest!
A full cast reading of your story featuring myself, Goombasa, Neighrator Pony, Luna Farrowe and Wubcake is now in development. Thank you again for writing such an awesome fanfic!
Well. I am absolutely floored.
I finally set up my new rig, so I can finally write again, and I think playing a game and a review on it is the best place for me to get back into the swing of things. I chose JumpJet Rex as a good starting point.
I've been posting silly stuff lately, including the full version of the AI story from the previous blog post. I'm not aching for a feature, but I'm tempted to release some "classic Trixie"-style stories soon.
So today I took the time to pen the story of how I became a mommy because I was inspired by a story I read online. I realized that I certainly should post it here, to give some context with what I write. I hope you all enjoy my story, and that it touches somebody out there. Enjoy.
There is so much in our lives that is negative.
So a funny thing happened when I posted a new story, "The Same Mistake You're Making", earlier this morning. I was suddenly hit with four downvotes before two minutes had even passed.
One isn't surprising. Four is a little off-putting. And three of them had very clearly dropped at the exact same instant.
So, I decided “why not” and started a Ko-Fi page. I figure it can’t do any harm. It’s completely voluntary, and I might as well be making a passive income.
I think I'm reverting back to monthly blog, err... things?
Before you ask, no this has nothing to do with LotR, I just suck at making names for my blogs.
Anyway, things have been cool lately and crazy which sort of makes for something I can't describe, which definitely makes sense. I mean, I actually changed my avatar after, what? Two years? That isn't necessarily a good thing though, but neither is it bad (and yes I'll be cooking my CPU plenty more).
