That’s right, Life, The Universe, and Everything 2022 kicks off tomorrow morning, with registration opening at 8 AM and the first panels starting at 9!
Will I be there! Of course I will! A little groggy, perhaps, but I don’t miss LTUE. And fortunately, all of my panels are in the evening and afternoon, so I have most of the day to wake up. And see other panels.
Hey all, it's been a while.
So while I've been rattling away at my original serial and what's left of Samudra's Journal, I've been working on a side-project while just doing my stuff, telling stories. Kinda like how Alternia was telling stories about her family in Princess Celestia The Changeling Queen.
This is something I've been thinking about for the past couple years, and while chatting with Wanderer D and Corejo at the con last year, I found out they'd been thinking about it too -- so we decided to make it happen.
This year at Everfree Northwest, we'll be running a bookstore booth: Twilight's Book Nook!

But besides that, guess what? Good news. I went and got my Tablet fixed in a local electronic fixing shop...or whatever you want to call it.
But anyway, as I predicted since the very beginning it turned out that the only thing that was broken inside my Tablet was a contact that connects the LCD with the rest of the device.
Proofreading Volume 2 has made me develop a newfound appreciation for how far I have come in terms of the quality of my writing. A big part of why editing it has been such a slog is how much harder it is to have to read through chapters that are not quite up to snuff with what I've been churning out in recent years. To quote Ben Yahtzee Croshaw...
"99% of all creators loathe everything they made more than 5 years ago and the remaining 1% are liars!"
It took quite some time, but I am happy to announce that the second volume of The Lost Element is now available for purchase on Lulu.com in three parts.
I am very pleased with the end result of this one. Page numbers are present and the title text is large and underlined. I feel its an appropriate step up from the more bare bones result of the first volume. To everyone who has supported me for so long, thank you. I hope you all enjoy the end result of this pet project.

My year-plus-long-streak of reading nothing but pony words (srsly, ya'll might maybe just possibly just write too much...still have a long RIL list!) finally ended this week, as the siren song of Safehold drew me back to my living room library shelves with the newest installment in David Weber's second most popular series. Regarding the books and bookstore:
I will be at the Golden Oaks Bookstore on the sales floor on Thursday from 2PM to 3PM, and on Friday 1PM to 2PM. That doesn't mean it's the only times you can buy my books, it's just the times so far I'll definitely be on the sales floor.
The prequel to The Lost Element is now available on Lulu. Very small, barely more than 50 pages. I was very surprised by how thin the proof copy is. A little special something for all my readers.

Well, I sorta lied, not because I'm not working on more than one book of my own, but because I have started a coauthor story with my lovely marefriend Conna-Stella. The book should be available soon with the first chapter up and running. I still plan on only doing one book at a time for my own stuff but will also be working with Stella on
