Readings for War Against The Sun · 10:32pm Apr 20th, 2020

Lovely readers, followers, and fans of every stripe, I come to you today to report that I have finished one of the many books that I assigned myself to read before starting my next big project. One of the most influential books in the Monarchist and Authoritarian genre: The Leviathan by Thomas Hobbes, written in 1651.

Editors Desperately Needed!!! Call to Arms, TO ARMS!!! · 7:06pm Feb 26th, 2023

Hello to all of my faithful readers and followers!! I have a desperate need for an editor or team of editors who would be willing to work with me on my books, specifically Battlestations: Equestrian Seas. However, if any of you would like to offer your assistance with any of my other books, I would like to hear your thoughts as well, so this is a general call to arms against the Grammer-Illiterate Forces of Overstatement, hailing from the Region of Clearness Extermination. We'll call them

The LTUE Writing Con Starts Tomorrow! · 10:02pm Feb 16th, 2022

Hello readers! This post is going to be short and to the point: LTUE starts tomorrow!

That’s right, Life, The Universe, and Everything 2022 kicks off tomorrow morning, with registration opening at 8 AM and the first panels starting at 9!

Will I be there! Of course I will! A little groggy, perhaps, but I don’t miss LTUE. And fortunately, all of my panels are in the evening and afternoon, so I have most of the day to wake up. And see other panels.

Princess Celestia the Changeling Queen Print Book Announcement · 10:09pm Jun 6th, 2021

Hey all, it's been a while.

So while I've been rattling away at my original serial and what's left of Samudra's Journal, I've been working on a side-project while just doing my stuff, telling stories. Kinda like how Alternia was telling stories about her family in Princess Celestia The Changeling Queen.

A Bookstore Booth at EFNW 2023 · 2:08pm Mar 12th, 2023

This is something I've been thinking about for the past couple years, and while chatting with Wanderer D and Corejo at the con last year, I found out they'd been thinking about it too -- so we decided to make it happen.

This year at Everfree Northwest, we'll be running a bookstore booth: Twilight's Book Nook!

In Which Bradel Is a Total Fanboy · 6:21pm Aug 13th, 2015

Whaaaaat? Four days straight of new content from Bradel?

Take heart, my loyal followers! I might even have a story for you tomorrow! (I hope. The damn thing refuses to sort itself out, though. Let's just say I've got a lot more respect for Cold in Gardez's "Lost Cities" now that I've tried to write something similar myself.)

MY TABLET IS SAVED!!!! :D · 9:11am May 15th, 2017

BLOG SPAMMING EXTREEEEEEME!!!! :flutterrage:

But besides that, guess what? Good news. I went and got my Tablet fixed in a local electronic fixing shop...or whatever you want to call it.

But anyway, as I predicted since the very beginning it turned out that the only thing that was broken inside my Tablet was a contact that connects the LCD with the rest of the device.

Past and Present · 7:35pm Oct 24th, 2018

Proofreading Volume 2 has made me develop a newfound appreciation for how far I have come in terms of the quality of my writing. A big part of why editing it has been such a slog is how much harder it is to have to read through chapters that are not quite up to snuff with what I've been churning out in recent years. To quote Ben Yahtzee Croshaw...

"99% of all creators loathe everything they made more than 5 years ago and the remaining 1% are liars!"

The Lost Element: Volume 2 · 6:38am Nov 9th, 2018

It took quite some time, but I am happy to announce that the second volume of The Lost Element is now available for purchase on Lulu.com in three parts.

I am very pleased with the end result of this one. Page numbers are present and the title text is large and underlined. I feel its an appropriate step up from the more bare bones result of the first volume. To everyone who has supported me for so long, thank you. I hope you all enjoy the end result of this pet project.

Hey readers! Got a pretty awesome treat for you all today!

You’ve seen the cover for Shadow of an Empire, right? That awesome, western vista done by Michal Kváč. Well, those close followers of the site may remember how I teased that it was wallpaper-sized. And those who were Patreon Supporters? They got the wallpaper sizes.

Well, it had to happen sometime.. · 6:25am Aug 18th, 2017

My year-plus-long-streak of reading nothing but pony words (srsly, ya'll might maybe just possibly just write too much...still have a long RIL list!) finally ended this week, as the siren song of Safehold drew me back to my living room library shelves with the newest installment in David Weber's second most popular series. Sorry, Merlin, even you cannot compete with Lady Dame Admiral of the Red Honor Harrington and her spaceborne armadas of justice handing-outingness

Bronycon is coming up, and Wanderer D will be there!
Besides the Golden Oaks Bookstore, I'll be part of some amazing panels with some wonderful people!

Regarding the books and bookstore:

I will be at the Golden Oaks Bookstore on the sales floor on Thursday from 2PM to 3PM, and on Friday 1PM to 2PM. That doesn't mean it's the only times you can buy my books, it's just the times so far I'll definitely be on the sales floor.

Before Time Began to Flow · 5:36pm Apr 30th, 2019

The prequel to The Lost Element is now available on Lulu. Very small, barely more than 50 pages. I was very surprised by how thin the proof copy is. A little special something for all my readers.

New Book Venture!!! · 9:58pm Mar 26th, 2020

So yeah, you all know how I said that I would only be working on a single book at a time? Well, I sorta lied, not because I'm not working on more than one book of my own, but because I have started a coauthor story with my lovely marefriend Conna-Stella. The book should be available soon with the first chapter up and running. I still plan on only doing one book at a time for my own stuff but will also be working with Stella on

Comic Book Review: The Goon · 1:05am Oct 12th, 2018

Just in time for the month of October, have a review of a comic that's about zombies, gangsters, and unspeakable horrors... all getting the everloving HELL beaten out of them. :rainbowlaugh:

Written and drawn by Eric Powell, The Goon is one of those rare comic books that has the distinct pleasure of being delightfully hard to adequately describe.
