    Today...

Today I lost my best friend of eleven, nearly twelve years.

He'd been sick the last couple weeks. He'd been having joint trouble. The vet prescribed something that let him run around like a puppy again.

I took him to the vet when he stopped eating and they gave me some pills for him. He seemed to be doing better. His appetite wasn't much better, but he wasn't ignoring everything.

    So sore...

    I walked four+ miles today! O__o

But I caught a shiny Zapdos!

And 18 regular Zapdos. Zapdoses? Zapdosi?

I need to add more friends. I ran out of eggs to hatch today with all that walking... o__O

    A Writer's Quick Reference

I know there are probably others out there, but the more the better, right? The best way to make sure everypony sees something when they need it is to have that something show up all over the place.

Too many ponies mix up a thing or two when they put in the effort to write. :pinkiegasp:

But together, we can set them right! :rainbowdetermined2:

    Well, buck...

I just spent almost a whole month reading a nearly two million word (and still counting!) epic.

Now I have over 100 new chapters to catch up on.

I don't know whether to be excited (I can reeeaaaaaad!) or dismayed (oh my god I am sooooo far behind on everything!)

Thanks for all the pony words.

    *cracks shoulders*

    Time to get a-readin'!

Well, it had to happen sometime.. · 6:25am Aug 18th, 2017

My year-plus-long-streak of reading nothing but pony words (srsly, ya'll might maybe just possibly just write too much...still have a long RIL list!) finally ended this week, as the siren song of Safehold drew me back to my living room library shelves with the newest installment in David Weber's second most popular series. Sorry, Merlin, even you cannot compete with Lady Dame Admiral of the Red Honor Harrington and her spaceborne armadas of justice handing-outingness and her adorable alien sidekick/pet/friend/celery-fiend/thing!

If you like sci-fi, or fantasy, or anachronisms, or cyborgs-that-aren't-really-but-totally-are, or conspiracy stories, or bad guys getting the old what-for, or any combination of the preceding heretofore mentioned things, you should check it out. This last book ended with some HUGE events; some that were long in coming, and some real surprises, as well as some delicious, sweet, poetic justice. The series' best book yet? Maybe!

And now back to the pony words. I think it's finally time to dig up that Fallout: Equestria thing I keep hearing about...
