Chapter 2 is in progress — probably around half way done. It's going to be a lot longer than chapter 1, perhaps as long as 6000 words, and will contain two interleaved story lines, following Lyra's arrival in the human world, and Bon Bon and Twilight Sparkle's activities back in Equestria.
I dont think Chapter 2 is going to get any better. And if I keep keeping it in stasis, then it´ll stay there from here to Ragnarok.
Well, I best head off to thank a few folk for helping me with this.

Right, I've been gone a couple months, but I'm back with a something that hopefully looks a little better. I'm not nearly as stuck as I was with the previous version of Chapter Eight, and the only reason I'm posting this now is threefold.
1: To let you all know I live and am working on Tartarus Forged.
2: To get your opinion on the new version of Chapter Eight, which will be below.
Yep, you heard right, my famous fic Chaos Talk might just be getting a bonus chapter, focusing on the wedding of Discord and Celestia, plus the unwanted guests who may want to crash it! Expect Q, the Archangel Gabriel, Loki, and many more!
Or such is the plan. After struggling with it for several weeks around other writing projects, it now stands at just short of 6000 words after I finally got some momentum on it and figured out what I'm going to do with it.
Finally, after months of distractions, writing and editing around college work, I have completed part 2/3 of "Sacred & Wild"! I wish I could guarantee that the next chapter won't take three months to complete, but alas, my creativity tends to be a bit sporadic. I have a few ideas for a new short story in the meantime, but I can at least assure my (admittedly tiny) audience that I know how to finish at least one of my longer stories!

Behind the anchorstallion was the live-footage of a crime scene. It was a montage of panic-stricken civilians, nosy reporters, frustrated police detectives, and yellow police tape.
Chapter won't be out today because it is still in the editing process. Hopefully I can have it up soon :)
Pretty much what the title says. I just finished banging away at my keyboard until pretty words came to me, so I've got a new chapter just about ready. I'm gonna give it a bit of last-minute fine-tuning tonight and then post it tomorrow morning.
A couple of people said they didn't get alerted when one of the prior chapters went up, but I am telling you right now that there is most definitely a new chapter coming tomorrow, so if you don't get a notification for it, it's still there.
For all who have read the chapter, both those who continued after and those who may not have , Chapter 1 has now been rewritten. Its not essential to read it again, you wont really miss anything if you dont read it but I think its quality has been improved, information is far clearer, and tone more appropriate for the story should hopefully be established.
Various foreshadowing and connections have been written in and now no longer a wall of text exists so...yay?

I don't know what I hoped this chapter to be but it clearly wasn't this. A chapter which is a long extended fight scene with only a quick resolution of P-21's arc at the end. The thing that should have been the focus was barely mentionned and yet I have a ton of things to say about it and about the end of the "Deus Arc" so to speak. I don't like having so little good things to say about this chapter but then again, it is more of the same.
Let's go.

What happened, Somber ? How can you go from making interesting little moments to something so... absolutely convoluted and unnecessarily dark ? Nothing in this chapter works ! The sex tape memory orb ? The massacre of a settlement just for the damn sake of it ? The fact that despite having one eye and four braces, there is NO difference in how BJ acts or in the things she can do ? She fucking lifted a pony in a power armor with her bare hooves ! I'm stunned.
