5:00pm (or near enough, close enough), time for an update!

Phew. Chapter 1 to 4 have been updated and edits are live now. Averaging around 500 new words for each chapter. Chapter 4 has the biggest changes made to it. Nothing too game changing I'm hoping, as in chapter 4.5 I will be (re)addressing/visiting bits that were mentioned.

Not 100% confident with what I've done so far but feeling good none the less. Chapter 4.5 is taking shape while Chapter 5 eagerly awaits to be made live.

I don't come on here often--maybe you can tell because this is my first blog post--but I always find the myriad of stories on here to be daunting. So, instead of looking for stories, how about I just read whatever any one wants to give me and then I'll give them constructive criticism on it. No promises on timelines for reading, as I said I'm rarely ever on so its impossible to tell when I'll actually read the story. Okay, don't know if any one will see this but there you go.

Kiddo is taking a nap. Doing a bit of editing. Playing this song in the background on repeat. Beautiful, isn't it? I found it when I was looking for instrumental music to practice songwriting to.

I've revised the story so far with minor edits.

I've made Twilight far less critical of Fluttershy.

I've cut back on descriptions where I could, mostly kept the flowery stuff for Fluttershy's vision.

I hope these minor edits help the story flow better, for upcoming chapters it will be easier to hopefully not be stilted.

Apologies for being absent on the updates. I've been attempting to sit down and write chapters as of late.

Right now, I'm focused on two things. Writing and backlogging chapters until the end of my story and making major revisions (grammar wise) to my existing chapters.

i got bit in the butt by a small writing bug, and have officially finished in the land of dreams. now that that's done, i can return to my usual fare of nothing editing pen's stories while contemplating some of my own.

eventually, yes, crystal storm will be continued/finished when i get around to it. as that story isn't a priority i can't say when that will occur.

Yep! Gird your Pip-Buck and crack open a Sparkle~Cola. I just finished typing chapter 3 of Fallout Equestria: Dark Origins. Now before I could upload it, my editor Bah Black Sheep wanted to make sure everything is in the up and up.
So, thanks for being so patient with me. I'll upload it as soon as it's presentable.

Firstly I'd like to say that this took a little longer for a few reasons:

I was in the hospital for ten days - nothing too serious, during my stay I wrote the majority of this - minus the final battle scene. I also spent much of my time there reediting the reactor scenes in chapters one through three. This was a real arseache to do.

I'm finally editing Ruby. The prologue will be rewritten and posted by tomorrow and chapter 1 will be posted by about the same time or later on Sunday. Whatever comes first. Fair warning, alot of the original story is changed to either shorten the story or drag it out. Especially in chapters 1 and 2. Yes, it was rusted and thats why I'm fixing it. The same story remains and the ending is still a bit of a mystery.

I hated the name An Unexpected Journey. For a space ninja, the name is a little light. It was my first story so I was at a loss for names. So along with the name change, I did the edits I mentioned also. So now the whole story is third person. So uh yeah...

Today we're tackling a topic directly. Head on. We'll be discussing a problem I often see throughout literature, especially work from new writers or in the area of fanfiction (and both are probably bolstered by the fact that most television deliberately commits this act in order to pad out run-time).
