For those interested, this short arc that introduces both Scootaloo and my take on Seaponies were taken from these stories. Moreso "The Shadow over Innsmouth" but "Dagon" is just my favorite short Lovecraft thing to introduce the way things are described and while I may be combining the ideas of probably Inception, the Emotional Spectrum (and therefore the Green Lantern Corps), elements of anime (particularly Bleach's more flashy bits and literally the soul weapons are literally soul reaper

Sorry for my relative silence lately — I've been getting sucked into family and housecleaning thanks to the recent holiday, plus things have gotten crazy in the best possible way at work. We've been working sort of in startup mode for the past few years, and this is when everything suddenly starts to pay off.
