Hello and thank you for reading Reconciliations.
This story marks the end of Sunset's "Recovery Arc", my EQG AU continuity that I've been posting stories in for over a year. Now that Sunset has buried the hatchet with all of the Other Five AND her ex, I'm eager to focus on some lighter topics for awhile. Follow me below the jump for more rant!
Please note this post does not apply to simply my story (singular as of this date) on this site. If I think this much about my writing of a slapped together romance that partially involves graphic interspecies intercourse and [words removed due to their graphic nature and detailed accounts of bodily positions] then I need more therapy than I imagine. Anyway, onto the post!
Take a wild, whimsical wander through a fairy tale, a literal fairy tale, in this Friday's featured fic.

tl;dr: Treasure maps aren’t one-way. Sometimes, when a map leads you in, it leads something else back out. SO SPOOPY

Thanks for continuing to read Daring Do and the Lost Tome of Shadows. Show some love and throw down a comment for everyone else to see!

I found this reddit post. I’m so happy, but also late.
tl;dr:
Fucking backseat drivers, am I right?

I mean, did you really expect them to choose the sneaky way? Good try, but fuck that noise. This is an action adventure! But I’m really glad some people voted. And I love discussions in the comments section. Keep it up!

Minds Eye wrote another thing, and a thing with earlier installments. For those of you who haven't read the earlier stories in this series by Minds Eye, go check em out first!
And now it's a comic.
The artist, Nova Quill AKA firimil on Deviantart, (who is far more talented than he gives himself credit for) tells me there will be a second one coming as well. This one involving the spa twins.
So, I just wrapped up a conflict that has been affecting the story since chapter five.

Yeah... it's been a while.
I should probably slap a spoilers tag on the rest of the blog. So...
Warning, the following will be spoilers on everything relating to Green from chapters 5 through the current chapter.
Still with me? Okay.
So, Twilestia and Twinkie.
I decided to Change my avatar.
It was getting old, anyway. Besides, blue is my favorite color. Updates are back on schedule as for me, it is spring break. So, expect frequent updates.
AND, I thought I would do an AMA (Ask me anything) on site. No personal questions, though. (No age, location, personal info requests) But any story related questions are welcome.
PLUS, here's a list of things I will write-eventually
Shovel Knight
Baccano!/Durarara!
IN WHICH I PONDER LIFE
While I'm doing that, enjoy this live performance by Ladybaby. It's… a bit raw.
Anyway, I want to talk about fictional relationships and food past the jump. Shall we?
I typed this Saturday night, before the flurry of Sunday morning to pack, do a final few activities, and get to the airport in time for my plane, which sadly means I'll miss the closing ceremonies and the Iron Author awards, which'll be really awkward if I win the latter. But I want to take the time now to get down my thoughts, because they need getting down.
So it's no question that Lovecraft's unique brand of horror has inspired a lot of artist over the years. From stories to artwork to games and even music. His influence is vast and expansive almost as much as the universe in his stories is mysterious and cruel. I mostly wanted to go over my oldest memory of the first time I had been introduced to Lovecraft themes. I was probably about ten, or so, and we went down to the little Blockbuster which was only about a block away from my house. I got
Wow. It’s been a long time since I’ve done one of these. But I figure if I was to ever come back to one of these types of blogs, I figured I’d start on something a little more complex. Something that a story cannot entirely be without; and that is a character. Not just any character though, but a good character that a writer has to have — hopefully not some cardboard cut-out of a bad archetype.
Hello to all of you 2 or so people who will read this, the FAR (FiMfiction Author Reviews) now has a schedule! There will be new reviews every Friday (unless I'm busy) which center around 1 author (except for Halloween, Valentines and Christmas special reviews) sooo... yeah, have a great day!
Gather round, kids. We are about to embark on an epic journey into one mare's deepest fears: Work.
tl;dr: HE STOLE IT RIGHT OUT OF HER SADDLEBAGS.

I’m nervous. I’m really nervous. Not about Chapter 14 — that’s easy. Slam Dunk. Straight Value. I’m scared because I’m not finished Chapter 15 and I’ve only got a month left. It’s gotta be good. It’s gotta carry its weight. It’s gotta follow Chapter 14 — a tough requirement if ever — and I’m not sure that it does, yet.
So, yeah. Nervous. This is crunch time.

Welcome everyone to another round of, Author’s Intuition: The Learning Writer. What we have for you today is a subject that I believe most of you will enjoy. A monster that’s so terrifying that it sends chills down the spines of most fearless people. It can tear you apart without a shred of hesitation and harvest your body in use of creating more of itself. What we’ll be discussing today is how this creature was made, what are its strengths, weaknesses, and how it can be used in literature.
