I’m nervous. I’m really nervous. Not about Chapter 14 — that’s easy. Slam Dunk. Straight Value. I’m scared because I’m not finished Chapter 15 and I’ve only got a month left. It’s gotta be good. It’s gotta carry its weight. It’s gotta follow Chapter 14 — a tough requirement if ever — and I’m not sure that it does, yet.
So, yeah. Nervous. This is crunch time.

Cratering the region (banned in the CTBT)
Trivia: An underground nuclear detonation vaporizes a large volume of rock, creating a void into which the above rock collapses, hence nuclear sinkholes. I'm not saying Twilight would cause a nuclear detonation, but her capacity to damage things could conceivably be measured in megatons.

Poor Daring. Her mother was lost in some archaeological expedition, and all she got out of it was fame, fortune, and a notebook. That’s quite the inheritance. Protip: If you want instant emotion and drama, just off the parents of the main characters. Dead relatives always add tension and emotion to any scene.
As with all my other characters, names are hard, but I'm satisfied with Susan Strong (from Adventure Time) and Archie Bold (my own inspiration.) I haven't yet figured out a name for Daring’s father’s name. Any suggestions?

In two weeks, the penultimate chapter: Do not Fuck with Apples, or Do not Fuck with Rainbows. A simple choice: Who’s gonna be more badass this time? Does Applejack pull some resolve out of her hat? Does Rainbow Dash sacrifice it all for Twilight? WHO KNOWS (I do.)
