So the Musical Showcase is coming up at my school. Everyone has a band, including my friends. I still haven't been invited and I don't think I deserve to just ask to join so I'm gonna go out and look for my own band. If only I knew the girls who answered my ad were my rivals.

Aria Blaze had been acting differently towards Sonata Dusk lately and decided to tell her what’s going on.

After Sonata and Aria had gone back to Canterlot High, Adagio wanted to meet up with Sunset Shimmer to thank her for helping the two former sirens regain trust at the school. Sunset accepted the offer all too eagerly. Could this small meet up build a friendship between Adagio Dazzle and Sunset Shimmer? Or maybe something more?

Instead of arriving at Canterlot High to kick off the events of Rainbow Rocks, the siren trio land just outside a swell little town where they try to use their singing to their advantage, but the town's record label has a different plan for them~

Aria and Sonata have hinted of feelings towards each other for some time, especially after their reformation, alongside Adagio, as close friends with The Mane 7. Aria has finally worked up the courage to ask Sonata out on a first date, at her apartment in downtown Canterlot. Sonata happily agreed. Aria is filled with nerves and seeks the perfect night for her date, as a chance to make full recompense for her actions towards Sonata during the Battle of The Bands. Will their relationship flourish and blossom? Read on and find out!

FYI this is set in the same universe as Be Mine. My other ongoing Rarijack romance fic. In Chapter 9 (Part 1) of Be Mine, we see the moment, where Aria asked Sonata out on a date.

And don't worry, there will be plenty more of these two, this is just a snippet of what's to come.

When Sunset confronts the Dazzlings on her own, she gets bullied by the three girls. Depressed and alone, she debates internally if the Rainbooms and Twilight truly are her friends until a certain blue haired girl comes to her rescue.

It's been some time now since the Battle of the Bands, but things have finally come to a head in the our household. Namely, Aria punched me in the face and kicked me out. Cruel in the extreme, I suppose what I have left to do is think about it all.

Adagio hesitantly asks Sunset Shimmer to talk with her, having been friends for sometime now, after Sunset opened her eyes to the world of friendship, that is, she decided it was time to tell Sunset what has been on her mind.

Sonata has a rough and tragic backstory involving her biological parents, after their quick and sudden passing, she moved in with her non-biological sisters Adagio and Aria. Now, she's having some troubles sleeping at night due to the images she keeps seeing in her mind, problem is, she won't tell anybody what's going on or what she sees because it makes her uncomfortable. Will one of her sisters be able to give her some peace of mind so she's able to sleep soundly?

This story explains the way I view the relationship of The Dazzlings, while I do view them as sisters, I do not view them as biological siblings, rather instead, I view them as three people who have lived together for so long that they just refer to one another as sisters, but they aren't related at all. Hope that makes sense.
