All of these stories are based on random things I've thought about while watching My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Where in the show's run they fall into... I honestly haven't decided, nor do I think it really matters. All these 'chapters' are really just short stories that each pick up at some random point from the last. Please note that these take place after A Night With Lyra, so give that one a read first!

Ten years ago, the Griffon Empire opened a portal to a strange new world and tried to annex it. In the peace settlement that followed they lost control of the province containing the portal. Since then, the Griffonian Democratic Republic had been completely isolated, surrounded on all sides by a hostile empire. Now, for the first time, a visitor had been allowed.

After Luna has been back in leadership for a few months now, she found herself a new hobby to dawdle away the lonely nights: thinking.
On her balcony she writes down her nightly trains of thoughts. Everything seems to settle down again for the lunatic goddess as Celestia detected her new behaviour.
She is afraid that her sister won't get involved in the modern society the way she acts and meets her protégé to develop a plan that gets Luna back on the road again: The lunatic Princess shall make contact with the trickster Trixie Lulamoon to share her problems with an equal personality...

On one of her regular hunts for gemstones, Rarity discovers a treasure trove beyond her wildest dreams... and the lavender-scaled dragon who collected it. Despite a rocky first meeting, Rarity and Greenfire soon find themselves drawn to each other more and more. But the question remains: How did a young dragon end up in the Everfree Forest all alone?
