This is a fan-made, alternative ending to AuroraDawn's "Rainbow Factory". All credit for the original story, and the source of my inspiration, goes fully to her.

Twilight Sparkle accidentally became a baby foal again after becoming a Princess Alicorn. She now has to endure being babied by Princess Celestia and endure the humiliation as she thinks about how her mentor has to constantly save her rump over the years since staying in Ponyville. Hopefully, this is the last time she winds up as a foal...

Lil' Cheese knows that Sugarcube Corner wasn't always run by Pound and Pumpkin Cake. They merely took over from their parents, who are now retired.

Eager for a chance to meet them, Lil' Cheese is delighted when his mom and dad announce that they're going to do just that: Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Cake at Silver Shoals.

Lil' Cheese is sure it'll be a glorious first meeting. After all, he's been told that the Cakes were a second family to his mother. So that makes them like family to him as well, right?

It isn't long before the media in Zephyr Heights goes into overdrive, speculating that the two leaders are a couple and that they're officially going to get engaged. When word of this reaches Bridlewood, Izzy eagerly anticipates planning a wedding.

But Zipp and Pipp aren't as enthusiastic about the whole thing. Pipp especially is less than thrilled with the prospect of her mother marrying somepony else. And it all has to do with what happened to Zephyr Heights' last king.
