Derpy ponders life and wonders about the one question that has always bugged her, "Am I important?"

"Make some friends!" a wise pony once said. But Celestia did not, or could not, or chose not to foresee the pain and anguish these words would cause. As the years whittle wearily on by, Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Friendship, curses the lonesome path her life must now take.

What if the alicorns of Equestria aren't just representations of their various aspects, but are in fact, linked to their very existance?

This question had been bouncing around my head, and just kept gathering more and more details until I had to get it out for others to know my suffering.

Life isn't going so well for Rainbow Dash. First she gets into a bad crash that disables both of her wings, then she's told she's grounded and becomes forced to stay with Twilight, which in turn leaves her out of Wonderbolt practices. This, of course, doesn't leave her in the best of moods.

But when Twilight shows her the power of the lawnmower and the goodness it can bring, she comes to appreciate the little things about being on the ground.

An older Spike is writing a romance story at Carousel Boutique and a sudden noise causes an awkward scene between Rarity and Spike. With Twilight, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie all being witnesses.

Carousel Boutique is getting to Rarity. She's hearing voices while she's working. She's always working on dresses and this time she didn't pay attention when a now older Spike comes in and says something to her.
